"Horse the Band is a hilarious band that deserves more credit than it receives. It’s not for everyone, and if you’re not into metal/hardcore, you’re going to have a hard time stomaching it. But for anybody that is a fan and used to play old school Nintendo, this is an album you should pick up."

Can anyone honestly ever say a recommendation would be based upon old school NES soundtracks and metal/hardcore? didn't think so....haha.

good review, yet to buy the album but that's only because best buy sucks the huge one here.

I just think they're funny. Id gave the album a 6.0

Have you ever considered that other people have different opinions than you? I happen to enjoy this record, it's better than a 6 in my mind, and I'm the reviewer, so it gets an 8.3. That's accurate because it's a representation of my opinion.

i think i would actually like this band if they had a good vocalist. some of their music is really cool/funny, but the vocals are garbage IMO.

Believe it or not, plenty of bands put out bad music, but you can go to sites that specialize in bad music to find out about those I guess. If you come here you're going to be exposed to good music... tough shit... i know.

Reviews are usually what the CD means to the person writing the review. I see no reason why Scott, of all people, would overhype an album for no reason. Do you remember his SKSK review?

It's a funny subject. Imagine a guy who only likes comedy films reviewing an intense drama....Do you think it would be an accurate Portrayal of the film?

I see what you mean but you should also understand that a review is meant to be more than just an opinion. The whole point of them is too provoke or not provoke interest.

This band rules. I can't wait for them with BTBAM and DEP. What a ridiculous tour. My friend and I are the only people I know who really like this band at all, but I'm over it.

Agreed 100%. That's where it really gets me. The music is decent, but the vocals are fucking horrible.

with a good singer they would be awesome...i love some of the weird nintendo beats, then you hear that dog shit they call a vocalist. too bad really.

Well, I could sit here and say that Name Taken has fucking horrible vocals* and sound right too. It's a difference of opinion. I certainly don't see any hardcore/metal in your profile anyways.
