i want to make a mix cd for work, the thing is i work at my dads optometrist where a lot of old biddies come in. they play a lot of jack johnson and norah jones and im sick of it. so i need some songs that are acceptable for the old people. ie nothing by fear before the march of flames. haha. all i can think of so far is a bunch of jimmy eat world songs.

at my work we play alot of lawrence arms, lagwagon, alkaline trio, the honor system, descendents, bad religion, bouncing souls, bear vs. shark, broadways, common rider, fugazi.

basically all the music that's PC enough for customers not to get offended, but still kicks ass.

you wish you had my job.

just make a really soft mix but throw in short songs by bands like charles bronson, benumb, spazz, and other noise/hardcore bands in between the slow jams....keep em' under 20 sec.

The first song off of My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello, "Welcome To The Working Week", it's the perfect opener to a work mix cd.
