Yeah, I know what you mean...but when the right girl comes along she'll appreciate you for who you are. Not too long ago I was thinking that I was never going to find someone who actually wanted the "nice guy" (being single for almost 3 and a half years kinda gave me that impression), but there are girls out there that say they want someone nice and mean it, I finally found one of them and I couldn't be happier and I'm sure you will too. It just takes time and a lot of it....but it's sooooo worth it. I wish you luck.

Amen to that. Same thing happened to me, and everything is so great now. We've been going out for a fairly long time and everything is just so much better when you have a girl who appreciates you for who you are and everything.

Yes this saying is very true i totally agree. Its really pisses me off when girls tell you that they dont need a bf or whatever to make them happy, basically just getting you off their back. Yet if the typicall asshole guy who really only wants sex in a realtionship comes along..that girl will fall head over heals for them and really would want to be with them after they told you they dont need a bf to make them happy. Its bull shit how those guys who only care about sex ALWAYS get the girls..its almost as if girls like to be treated like shit because whenever theyre played, fucked with, or just let down by a guy. They just keep going back to that. Its this endless cycle, guy wants girl he cant get, girl wants guy she cant get. It really sucks.

Amen to that. Same thing happened to me, and everything is so great now. We've been going out for a fairly long time and everything is just so much better when you have a girl who appreciates you for who you are and everything.

i agree. My boyfriend now said he had the hardest time the last 2 years getting fd over by chicks. Than we met..and boom...were as happy as ever. And hes a extremely nice guy..and I like to think Im a pretty nice girl myself. :) So as much as it sucks now...one day youll find a girl who truely appreciates you :thumbsup: sorry to sound so damn sappy.

Karma comes around. i was completely in love with my ex... after we broke we kinda started to see each other, long story short she screwed me over and i was pretty bummed out. now i have an amazing girlfriend who really appreciated me. treats me better than i deserve
oh and if your wondering about my ex..... she started seeing this preppy jock dude.... she is 6 months pregnant and he wants nothing to do with her. it sucks to see her like that, but she chose the asshole over the nice guy
I hope none of you guys actully believe the nonsence that your posting. I mean think about it; wouldn't you rather spend time with sombody who makes you feel good than sombody who makes you feel like shit? Its not as if having a vagina reverses that. The only reason girls are more likly to be with some douch bag than a nice guy is because the douch bag has more overt confidence, and confidence is very atractive. I think that's the problem right there. When you talk about "finishing last" it's because the best piece of ass didn't choose you. If someone asks you why you wanted the girl, you'll say "love" but you'll mean "ass"...it's just the truth. And when you don't get that ass you feel like shit cause you know you'll be having sex with Handjela and PALMela later that night. It makes you sad cause blue balls hurt more than a broken heart. That's why after constant rejection, guys will take any ass that walks by cause standards decrease with rejection.
I say, fuck that. Just do what you're doing, build up your confidence/self esteem whatever...not by getting fifty band shirts, not by going to more shows, not by "lending an ear" (aka sucking up)...just know that life goes on without the "hot chick".

That's not even remotly true. The reason I'm so confident is because I know that I'm a nice guy (most of the time). Regardless if I'm looking to just pick up for the night or a relationship, I don't have any real trouble. I don't buy girls drinks at the bar or anything like that or give them shallow compliments. I talk to them like they're a real person. Aparently girls like that. It also helps to keep in mind that you've really got nothing to lose. The worst thing she can do is say no, and its not as if you were getting any from her to begin with.

Haha we talked about it last night, we're best friends now and i give her a hard time often about me liking her... And she even said that the only thing keeping her from giving me a shot was the timing of the whole thing. Plus she says she's a bad girlfriend, but I like a challenge. *shrugs shoulders*
Ps. I don't get what's so difficult about giving a relationship a shot and seeing if it works. Worst case scenario: we go back to just best friends. Hmm doesn't sounds like a bad trade-off either way. Pretty much risk free if you ask me, but what do I know?

well she might be afraid if she gives it a try your friendship wouldnt be the same, but since you are pretty much up front about your feelings i dont think it would change anything. so it is pretty much risk free. but don't push for it too much because then you might lose your friendship over it, just let stuff happen.
