to a point i agree...they really had no right winning that game...but the defense and special teams was unbelievable all day. andy reid was awful. if they had lost...this game was on him...
- still no running, esp on 1st down
- pass on 1 and 20, run on 2 and 20?
- when they did run, it wasn't even well called, it was always halfback dive
- 1:40 on the clock in the first half with no timeouts and he allows McNabb to call huddles...no wonder they ran out of time on the 5 and no wonder they lost the Superbowl that way
- how many 5 yard passes can you call before the defense knows it's coming.
he really was awful at play calling...jim johnson and the special teams deserved the win, they were incredible, but that offensive performance is reid's fault and he needs to fix it very fast
All said though, Jim Johnson and that defense (Trotter and Adams against LT especially) were as good as I've ever seen them.

thats like saying the irish were lucky against michigan. when you don't give up, you usually win. their d and s/t didn't give up and they won.

i believe that if the eagles are going to win the bowl, their defense will have to lead the way

i think unless their offense steps up a lot more than they are..defense or not, the bowl isn't even a possibility

i agree. i'd like to see gordon get some more carries even. have them both in the backfield sometimes too. that fake dive toss works well.

How is that the same? Notre Dame starting putting in 2nd stringers near the end of the 4th.
I'm not knocking the Eagles, I love them. But really they got lucky today

I agree dude, Andy Reid is really going down hill. I only started noticing it during the Superbowl and a few times here. But man he has a very big problem with working the clock

i know special teams stepped up today, but it seems like they are underutilizing (word?) westbrook too much, i like gordon too so why not put westbrook back on punts and kicks, besides his usual touches
