The second part of Low Level Owl easily beats the one American Football album. Get fucked you Kinsella worshiping, flannel wearing monsters.

As much as i love the straight up sound from American Football, i think i'll side with Low Level Owl. Kinsella uses some fantastic chords and has a great use of the clean guitars, but the texture synths and styling of Low Level Owl is brilliiant. It's got the ambient edge that American Football doesn't have.

after reading this, i downloaded Low Level Owl 1 because i haven't listened to it in so long. its a lot better than i remember. but i have a lot of emotional attachment with AF, so that's why i picked it. and i just love everything Mike Kinsella touches, mainly Owen. i can't wait for the new Owen record...if it ever comes out

i felt that same way too before i REALLY listened to "At Home With Owen." i listened to that cd over and over driving from Idaho back to Utah and each time i listened to it, i loved it more and more. now it is one of my favorite cds of all time, easily. it's borderline perfect, in my opinion.

It's a good album, i'll give you that, but to each their own, i have to spot agreeing after a certain point haha.
