Are you going to the HOB show?
That is an amazing set list. The only thing that comes to mind as missing is The Beltsville Crucible.
What happened to the Panic! thread? What was it about?
And I like that they are playing a lot of new ones.

It was a re-post, so that might explain it. I think someone posted that same rolling stones review a week ago or something like that.

when they played in Seattle i was suprised with the choice of songs. i didnt think they'd go that heavy. and i also hoped they'd play the new version of So Strange I Remember You.
it was pretty much the same set list. i dont have a perfect memory but i know it was all the same songs, except i think The Earth Will Shake was earliar in the set. whatever.
incredible performance one way or the other.
and the three new Underoath songs were okay. heavier. the more electronic one was my favorite. i havent been listening to that heavy of music lately though so it wasnt exactly my cup of tea.

I am going to sound like a straight up lameasaurus rex, but it would be awesome to see them play "All That's Left"... I don't care how poppy of a song that is for them, it's really fucking good.

Underoath played two new ones. At the Detroit show, the keyboards got unplugged and I thought for sure the keyboardist was going to explode. You think he jumps around all crazy when playing, imagine what it's like when his equipment is broken. He was either going to explode, or jump off the stage somehow and fly away. It was rather amusing.
Thrice played a great show.

underoath played...
1. young and aspiring
2. its dangerous business walking out your front door (chris had some power problems during this song and he was freaking out)
3. the impact of reason
4. new song 1 (really good song in my opinion it rocked heavy)
5. i dont feel very receptive today
6. ive got ten friends and a crowbar that says you aint gonna do jack
7. new song 2
8. a boy brushed red... living in black and white
not positive on the order but im pretty sure thats all they played. they rocked and really set the stage for thrice who also killed it. one thing i thought was really tight was underoaths entrance it was electrfying

im sure the band wasn't happy with the performance, there were quite a few technical difficulties, but stare at the sun acoustic and to awake and avenge the dead were amazing. for the last part thats all heavy, the guitarist from the bled came out and played dustin's part while dustin leaned into the crowd and did the screaming part. When it got all dark and the intro to music box started playing, if you didn't have chills, you should probably check your pulse.

Hmm... I'm going to this show to Underoath and The Bled. Thrice is alright, but I dunno if I can sit through 20 songs of them.

Not that it wouldn't be cool to hear some of that, it just wouldn't fit with what they play live anymore. Plus i've heard it quite a few times so I can live w/ their current set list.

just got back from the cincy show...veda was saying their van got hotwired in detroit so all their shit got stolen, it's really sad that this keeps happening to bands. on a better note, all the bands were awesome, thrice's setlist was basically the same as what's posted. the only other thing that pissed me off were all the underoath fans slamdancing to thrice. :shake:
edit: i guess there was already a post about veda...but it's still terrible. props to them for sticking it through and still putting on a great show though.

we'll be lucky to see them play any song off of Changing Of Times ever again. god himself will have to come down and teach the guitarists the parts to the songs off of Cries of the Past and Act of Depression if they're ever going to play any of those. it's sad that I've Got 10 Friends and both of the two new songs were better than every song on Chasin Safety combined. god that record is mediocre, we need to sound like the used now so people listen to our 'message' crap. and seriously, someone take the mic away from spencer so he can't make them sound even worse anymore. absolutely terrible, top to bottom. The Sherminator rates the post-Dallas uO experience a 0. brrrrrrrrrrr.

On the DVD there was a live part where they were playing it, I thought maybe there was a shot they'd play it. Underoath is great no matter what form, from the old heavy as hell stuff, to the They're Only Chasing Safety sound. Especially excited to hear how they sound on the new record, no doubt in my mind it's gonna be awesome.
