I just bought this game this weekend and am really impressed with it. I skipped last years iteration and only had '07 which was fun but lacking a little.

I haven't tried the online teamplay yet but eventually when I get a little more familiar I probably will.

Anyone else play this gem of a sports game?

Yeah dude i tried this game out earlier this year. Had no idea it was going to end up being the most well made sports game I ever played. I was never really into hockey, but this game actually sparked some interest in it for me. Online is awesome. The team play is actually pretty fun too.

I was always a casual fan but now that the Blackhawks are actually a legit team and I can actually watch home games on TV my interest has grown exponentially.

Either way, the Be A Pro mode is excellent and very well put together.

I guess it won a bunch of awards for best sports game of the year.

Game is amazing...I'm pretty addicted. We always end up drinking/playing this before we go out. My roomy fucked up my DNF though, so I'm not sure how to go about fixing that or if it ever gets reset. For even NON-hockey fans, this game is a lot of fun and well done. Still hard as fuck to score though, ha ha, especially if you have a roommate that doesn't know what he's doing.

I would assume that never gets reset...but I could be wrong.

Has anyone played as the goalie, I'm really interested in that but again probably won't get around to it until later.
