I am in financial acounting and I hate how the problems are so long. And we usually get assigned the same problem like 3 times with different numbers, its basically busy work. I hate the class but the teacher is a pretty good guy and always relates stuff to the most random stories so it ends up not being that bad.

Accounting is easy until you get to upper level courses and payroll/tax accounting, that shit makes me want to take an apple peeler to my forearm.

yea, im an accounting major. i used to question why i even went into it, but i've grown a passion for it. biggest thing i've learned is the more work and effort you put into it, the more you will enjoy it and appreciate it.
but yea, im in my upper level accountings now and if you need help feel free to ask.

i've got 'intermediate accounting, updated 3rd edition' by spiceland, Sepe, and Tomassini
if by chance you use the same book, i have a majority of the answers.

any firms you guys like in particular? my sister has worked at ernst and young for about 3 years now, and our close family friend is the managing partner at the toledo office. gonna cross my fingers and see if i can get in on that. i think working at one of the big 4 would be awesome, but i've heard mixed reviews.

I'm planning on getting an internship with the Washington Capitals not this coming summer, but the next. And then getting a job with them or the Flyers once I graduate.
