I loved the pokemon games. I still do. Whenever I'm sitting around doing nothing i bring out my old as shit gameboy and play pokemon blue. that game was an extremely well made rpg. and any rpg fan will tell you the same. There was a good balance to the characters in the game, you needed certain strategies for defeating enemies, and the puzzle solving areas were a bit of a challenge.
Overall, an excellent game.

Pokemon was/is great. I played it on my friends gameboy a few times. I didn't have a gameboy of my own though so I had to settle for the card game.

Pokemon Red/Blue was so much fun, but I haven't been able to enjoy one since. Too many Pokemon or something... just not as fun.

i don't understand how it's still cool to play Pokemon, but when I bring up the Coheed & Cambria comic everyone here says "are you in third-grade?"

probably because whereas pokemon is an awesome game, the coheed comic leaves much to be desired. this is coming from a self proclaimed comic book nerd; one who works in a comic book store i might add.

gold and silver was great too.
