You're not gonna get better quality than 320 on Grammatizator. It's a vinyl rip, deal with it. Sight Unseen was also upped in 320. And what is Voice of Dissent?

Death Blossoms is a Guitar Hero World Tour Exclusive. Sight Unseen was on the Japanese import of Appeal To Reason and I posted a link to CD rip of it several weeks ago in this thread.

As for the people complaining about the quality of the self titled 7". The two tracks are only demos from the practice sessions in Chicago before they went to the Blasting Room to record Appeal To Reason, so the vinyl format and the fact that they are demos limit's the overall sound quality. I posted both 320 and uncompressed wavs, you're not going to find better until they are released on a CD.

someone already beat me to the short music comp track. i don't remember where i found it, but i have maria version 1, but don't know the quality cause i'm @ work. i have the brainstew cd single @ home and can upload that track in apple lossless if you like.

Does anyone have Jack's Mannequin MEFO: Pat 1 - Made For Each Other? Not both together, just part one. I am making a mix and want to get that on there but 8 minutes kills alot of space. Help asap! Thanks.

You know, I would have absolutely sworn that I had a version that had them split out but I must have deleted it a long while back. Depending on what you're using to burn the CD, you can use some kind of audio cropping tool to cut it down to the first part. I know Nero allows you to do that. Or you can edit it in Audacity. Or if you'd like, I can edit it in Audacity.

As an aside, what is your number one rule when making a mix? I've been taking an informal poll recently.


Third, and unrelated to anything, I know I asked a couple of days back. But is anybody planning on pre-ordering the new Taking Back Sunday on iTunes? It'd make my day to know for sure that we'll be getting the remix of Carpathia. Much appreciated.

This is the remix from the Buried By The Buzzzz 7" which I've ripped before, but this is from the record label's MySpace page. It's only 128 kbps but it's not ripped from the vinyl (hence Non-7") so there's no vinyl noise.

My turntable sucks plus I didn't realize how badly I'd been compressing my records with hiss reduction. There's no dynamics. So it's either really noisy or super compressed, which sucks because I have a pretty decent collection.

Here's a random request: I was reading some Braid song lyrics the other day (I've become re-infatuated) and someone mentioned Bob Nanna doing an "an ambient, mostly a cappella cover of his own song." during a City On Film set. So does anybody have any live sets of City On Film where he covers a Braid song (preferably A Dozen Roses)? Obscure, I know. But it'd be very much appreciated.

Edit: I know there are some sets out there like the one at Schubas on 8/12/05 or the one he did in Detroit on 5/10/04. I know the first one is available via iTunes (though I wouldn't object if someone wanted to PM it to me, I'll probably end up buying it anyway) and I found a link for the latter one on Mediafire, except it's dead. So yeah, basically any live City On Film sets with Braid covers would be stellar.

It's on some singles indeed, I think it's a bonus track on some versions of When Your Heart Stops Beating as well, I don't know what kind of versions for which region though.

As long as it's the mp4's you're downloading then yeah, that's a good way of doing it.
Mp4's are better than flv's in both audio and picture quality.

Not really a b-side, but I'm after the full-length concert (audio and/or video) of the Third Eye Blind 10th Anniversary show from the Fillmore ("Ten Years Down") that was broadcast on HDNET back in 2007. I think there is a torrent of the video which would be awesome, but I'd take the audio portion also. There are single videos available on youtube, but I don't think every song is on there.
