I don't know if it's been mentioned but The Ataris are performing live new material on this (http://www.thepunkrockshow.com/) website tonight at 7:00 PM PST. If someone could rip the audio I would be more than appreciative. I would do it myself but my computer for some reason doesn't allow that kinda stuff to happen. I figure there has to be at least a couple Ataris fans on here that may be willing to do so. Thanks in advance.

I love the build/guitar solo action at the end.
That would be amazing! I wish I was more of a composer of sorts, but I always end up behind the drum kit.

There just old demos I've lost passion for. I've really badly lost the motivation to work on stuff, which sucks.

But it'd be nice to see something happen. I think if the stuff actually did get used, I'd feel like I was actually decent at what I try to do. But I think it's very cool of John because I'm sure the kids who get picked must be really stoked to see their names there.

Funny enough, I hate that I can bullshit on any other instrument except drums!

I'm looking fro a good version of Streets On Fire by Porno For Pyros. It's on the soundtrack for the movie Dark Blue, but it was unreleased I think.

Someone asked for this a while ago, but it is unreleased. The song plays over the credits of the movie though. Best bet would probably be to rent/buy the movie and rip the track from the credits.

If anyone in the UK went to the Kevin Devine show last night, did they sell CD-Rs of the album at merch? I'm reading the UK label's blog (http://blogscarymonsters.blogspot.com/) and it says "to cut a long story short, here I am, loaded with 32 musical receipts (AKA CDs full of 6 unreleased tracks), along with 32 pieces of paper asking people to pledge their money, fill in their details and put their faith in the postal service, with the promise of a CD to come as soon as the New Yorkers pull their fingers out."

They had the die-cut sleeves in NY and the CDs and booklets in Europe and the sleeves didn't show in time.Are there 6 bonus tracks? B-Sides or US tracks?

Yeah, to have your name up there would not only be cool for whatever recognition it would be garner, but more so to have your musical creations validated by a good and (at least personally) respected song writer would be awesome, definitely motivating. To also see where he would take the songs and to see what he would add or how they become rearranged would be a really interesting look into his song writing process.

Drums have always been natural to me... most of the time I don't need to count or acknowledge measures or groupings of time (though I can, and can read music, ect...) I just do what feels right and it works. But it's gotten me spoiled, so having to take the time to work through any other instrument always seems like a burden and they never stick. I would love to be able to play piano though.

Try Wikipedia. Look up whatever band you're interested in, and it usually has a discography. Other than that, try google and search for fansites or forums.
