As far as DM goes, I have not really listened to them after Violator. I distinctly remember hearing Speak and Spell back in 1983 and NEVER hearing anything like it before.

My favorite DM period is probably 1994 with Songs of Faith and Devotion and the Devotional tour. There was something about the chaos of it all that made the music very intense. I have a bunch of DM bootlegs as far back as 1980, so I get to live vicariously through those.

Brand New and the Get Up Kids were supposed to be playing here (Alaska) tomorrow night, but the show got canceled because a motherfucking volcano blew up here (planes can't fly in ashfall). Good bands rarely come up here, so this really sucks.

I believe 'Break Up Day' appeared on a Drive Thru comp. (must have been just after they got signed), which is where mine came from originally, but I'm talking about years ago here. Basically just saying there's a CD out there to get a rip of it from.

I've always used a program called "Blaze Media Pro" [found my copy with torrents] because all it took to rip the audio only was to load the video file, and click convert :P. I haven't used the program in months tho since I've had no need to rip video audio lately. I'm sure there are easier ways, but that was what I used and I know it works :)

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what was your first language, since I always thought your English was quite good.

What really made it worthwhile for me was that they included the recording sessions that were partially released on their debut EP, From The 27th State.
