When I read the post about a body being found, my entire body tensed. I put on "Wide Eyed" and started praying and praying. My sincere condolences go out to her friends and family. No one deserves to go out like this.

With that being said... You Do Not FUCK With OUR SCENE. You do not. The motherfucker that did this better start fucking running, because he will be found. By God or by man, he will be found and brought to fucking justice. All our prayers and positivity won't let this go unanswered or unaccounted for. I didnt know her like many many of you on this site but it just hit me really hard because i was following all the news posts about it and what not. its just a horrible situation. My condolences to her family and friends. may she RIP. :(

i totally agree with everything you said EXCEPT for the "our scene" speech, that has nothing to do with anything. Not only is it inappropriate, but it's just dumb. What scene! This is an absolute terrible tragedy, yet has nothing to do with any scene, it's generic to this sick world we live in.

Instead of contributing to the negativity of this act, through vengeance, or being complacent and just posting "this is horrible" on a message board; (even though sharing your feelings within a community via the means of a message board is all right) we have to do something about this. It would be more productive for us to start realizing what has become of our complacency within our society. All too often events like this happen, and nothing changes. Look at the facts. Most mainstream media outlets did not pick this story up. Why is this? Why isn’t every child important as the last? Are there too many to report? If that is the case, than we need to change that, how can we live in a world where there are too many children that are dying, to be reported? Can you live with the fact that the very same country you live in, or choose to believe in has people within it ruining people’s lives? So what can you do? There are plenty of things, community service, establishing programs to educate the public, writing to representatives in government etc. We have the power through our social contract with our government to let them know that we do not think they are addressing certain issues. Cynics may claim that our government doesn’t care, and they may be right. This is only more of the reason to take the power within your own hands and begin to let the public know about incidents like this one and start helping people within the community.

It is our duty as moral beings to help our communities understand that human life should be held to a higher over anything else. This goes from the way you live, to how you treat others, and to even what you choose to believe in. Educate others through your actions and behavior rather than through implementing more useless laws. The reason why there are people who kill others is because people become lonely and disenfranchised from our society because they are not considered “normal” or there is usually an incident of trauma that is not properly treated within the individual’s life. Our role in society should be to care for these people, and help nurture them back to a state of feeling part of our society. Individualism has been misconstrued as a means to not care about what others feel or what others need and only worry about your intrinsic needs: when essentially our country’s philosophy is based on the individual welfare through other individuals. Everyone matters, no matter what.

i have a radio show at my college every thursday morning. and i tried to say something about this whole thing, and it was just too hard to read, it came off so poorly when it should have came out better out of respect for her. and then it makes me pissed off because i dont feel like anybody cared about what i said and how sad it actually is. makes you really reconsider all the things you have in your life. all my thoughts go out to her family and loved ones.

ok, ive been out of town for a few days and i just got on here really quick honestly to see if anything else was going on with this situation. i feel sick now that i see there has been and what the result was. its sad.
