The tracklisting to the Tony Hawk's American Wasteland soundtrack has been posted (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=88926&highlight=tony+hawk) before, but I just got the game yesterday and the in-game soundtrack is totally different and even better. Tony Hawk 4 was the best. That game was amazing. I liked THUG 1, but 2 sucked balllllls. This one is more of a return to skating oriented goals, even though it's really easy so far. I hated how the Underground games had goals like "Fetch the homeless guy 10 bags of Cheetos, then carry them on the roof, but don't get caught by the guards." I was like eff that, I wanna skate!

btw, expect a review of the actual soundtrack soon.

Haha. I just got THUG2 for Cube for $5 last week and already beat it on Sick! difficulty. That's how easy it was.

Yeah, that was the problem with the THUG games, sick mode wasn't even a challenge, because there were virtually no skating goals with combos or high scores, which is really all that's manipulated to be harder between normal and sick.

I just miss 4....I could land 12,000,000 point combos in that no problem...there was a great loop in San Francisco.

Haha,yeah, I know. I work in a game store so I know. I get like.. 18 kids a day pissed at me cause obviously it's my fault it got delayed. I'm saying that if it WERE to get released it would be nice and that in general, whatever year, it'll make it. I guess more FF 7 and Nippon Ichi games for me... Oh and Shin Magami Tensei games...

i liked thug2 because you could play in classic mode. i always thought the new system they started in thps4 was bullshit. this one beats all though because of oingo boingo's "who do you want to be today", a song forever immortalized by teen wolf too starring jason bateman (watch that shit on starz sometime and laugh your fucking ass off at how bad it is).

damn Scott, those are my thoughts exactly. THPS 4 was the best and THUG was awesome but THUG2 was so lame. That is the only reason I am hesitant to buy this one, but if you say that it is better then THUG2, which is the only THPS game which I didn't like, then I might have to go ahead and get this.

Moscow on THUG1 had a never ending loop, and you could always do a Crooked Darkslide to gain your balance back. I think I hit like 10 mil though without using it on the Internet. I still lost.

Also the presence of "New Noise" in that game was awesome

dude, i was just telling someone about Teen Wolf Too when he was talking about about arrested development, i dont know what the hell the makers of the movie were thinking, "ok we'll make this the same as teen wolf except it's gonna box instead of play basketball," what college has a fuckin boxing team anyways?

the thing i still cant get over is that in the first teen wolf that hot chick basically wanted to fuck a dog.

I'm enjoying this game quite a bit. It's a little cheesy. But cheese is good. Personally I think the Taking Back sunday cover of the Descendents' Suburban Home and I Like Food is a standout on the soundtrack.

But thats just me.

eh, sort of. There's still pretty distinct sections though, and they're all seperated. There's like 8 sections or something.

that is, in story mode. i'm sure there's more in classic.
