Who is better Batman or superman?

please discuss why you choose who you did.

im going to say batman. supes is too vunerable. he only gets his powers from the earth's sun, if there is a solar eclipse or the sun is blocked out, he is pretty well screwed. he is just a mortal. Batman spent years training and studying different sciences and martial arts. the guy is a genuis and has the money to back it up.
i could go on, but id like to hear other peoples opinions

Superman = a guy who's got powers that are almost unfair that they're so good and yet he's a pussy
Batman = a regular guy who's sheer badassery alone makes him a "super hero"

definitely batman, because he has the kryptonite ring. if you read hush, you can see the fight where batman whups the shit out of supes.

batman without a doubt. first of all, he's a human being without any super powers, thus he has no advantage. he's loaded, strong, intellegent, and always gets the girls. superman on the other hand is from another planet and has superpowers. how is that fair?

Batman is a total badass
Superman is a fucking boyscout

Batman is smart, trained hard to become the fighter he is, solves crime, and is RICH
Superman is an alien who gets powers from the sun

Batman gets the girls
Superman can just get Lois (thought in the begining she thought he was a total geek when Clark)

last but not least..Batman has the fucking BATMOBILE

Batman by far. Do i really need a reason... There are about 1 million. In closing, Superman is a chump. If i had all his super powers and still got whipped by Batman i would kill myself. Batman has way cooler enemies as well. The Joker is the ultimate enemy but Scarecrow rules as well. The Ventrilquist is probably the gayest but he is funny. Harvey Dent rules as well. Superman just has a bald dude. Wow, how exciting......

Well here is the problem with the argument. Heads up, I say Batman wins because he's too smart for Superman. However, if villains weren't retarded they could EASILY kill Batman. The guys Superman fights would own him, because he is ultimately just a human and would go down easily. Doomsday vs. Batman = GG Batman. Overall, I like Batman more, he's just such an awesome guy, read the JLA book where he inadvertently betrays them by having exactly how to stop every member on file and Ra's Al Ghul steals it and then takes out every member AND Batman by stealing his parents bodies and threatening to throw them in the Lazarus Pit. Classy, classy stuff.

Batman is a cold dude, so the instant he had a chance to kill Superman, he would. None of this lock him in a cage for 2 days before we kill him bullshit, he'd take him out right then. Superman is a little more compassionate.

Exactly. Superman, if it came down to it and they were mano y mano for all the marbles, would win. There is no way Batman would win a straight up fight without tons and tons of planning. Think about this, Superman flies up, heat vision, baked Batman. Good game. I personally like Batman a lot more, but conceptually there is no way Batman would win, but obviously the outcome is decided by who is writing it. Obviously Batman wins if it's Frank Miller.

this was a tough one.
now, if Spiderman was there it'd be a no-brainer.
but neither of them was ever my absolute favourite, but i have to admit, i'm a sucker for Smallville :L :L
