The song is called "You Give Love A Bad Name".

My three favorite songs from the 80s are:

Tracy Chapman - "Fast Car"
Phil Collins - "In The Air Tonight"
Rockwell f/ Michael Jackson - "Somebody's Watching Me"

i can understand why you might forget the names of some of these bands, like Dexys Midnight Runners, or Men Without Hats, but how could you not know Pat Benetar?

or fucking Duran Duran?

my favorites from the 80s...
"you give love a bad name" bon jovi
"another one bites the dust" queen
"relax" frankie goes to hollywood
"wake me up before you go-go" wham!
"you spin me right round" dead or alive
"working for the weekend" loverboy
"heaven is a place on earth" belinda carlisle
"the safety dance" men without hats

and i know i'm forgetting big bands, but i have never been a big fan of certain popular 80s bands...

i didn't notice any madonna. 'lucky star' is a personal favourite... but it might not be your thing.

i think most of my other favourites have been covered, but i'd go with 'the way you make me feel' or 'dirty diana' for mr. jackson.
