after losing in the regional finals last year because we opted to go for 2 with 38 seconds left to try to win instead of going into OT, we're pretty fucking good again this year

i'd say expect to see our running back somewhere big next year, christian haywood

when i was in high school (way back in 2004) our team was a joke. The coaches and players worked really hard, but it got pretty ugly at times. The strange thing is that my college's football team is good, and no one cares, but a lot of people were really into following my high school team.

my school dosent have a team and there is a bunch of rumors going around
1.a kid hung himself from the goalpost after a game
2.some1 got crippled during the game

the insurance would be 2 much
of course its a bunch of bs i would die 2 have a football team

The insurance thing is the most likely. My old school(I graduated in 2004) doesn't have a team of their own because of that reason. But we partner with another school and at least for the last few years we had one of the best teams in the section..

we were 0-8.
6 of our 8 games were against playoff teams last year who had a combined winning percentage of .703 (70.3% for the mathematically impaired). All teams were at least 5-3 or better, except one team who was 1-7.
(A Big thank you to the assholes who make the schedules!)
we returned 3 starters on each side of the ball.
started 4 seniors on offense, 5 juniors and 2 sophomores.
on defense we had 4 seniors, 4 juniors, 2 sophomores and 1 freshman.
we lost 3 of our last 4 games in the last 1:30 of the game. (20-14, 18-14, 23-21)
the other game was 41-14 in a game where we had 5 turnovers (3 INT, 2 fumbled snaps) and they ran their OWN BLOCKED FIELD GOAL in for a TD. So we essentially handed that team 35 of their points.

....i'll remember my senior football season forever.

My team is 2-7. We won big our first to games, then against our rivals we lost it in the fourth quarter. After that its been all downhill. We lost this week 42-12 and the week before 52-0. It sucks becuase our o-line and kicker sucks so we have no running game, only punt and do kick offs, and barely get pass protection.

I have a sack, a fumble recovery for 5 yards and 5-10 tackles. I don't play much.

But baseball my main sport and I have a feeling I'm going to be sick this year. I hit .333 last year as a sophmore and pretty much playing once or twice every two weeks.

hit the gym and consume protein riched food like it's your job *****

you'll play a lot more and bat a lot higher than .333

I know, it didn't help though that our outfield were all seniors, and that two were all state and one all conference.

My high school football team sucks. We werre good in the 80's and what not. But now we are horrible and will never be good again.

Monsignor Farrell High School
Varsity:
5-4 (2-0 in playoffs), CHSFL Varsity AAA Bowl Champions

Junior Varsity:
I can't remember lol

Freshman:
9-0, undefeated Freshman Champions

The Varsity didn't make the regular Championship (I think they wound up in 6th place) so they had like a seperate championship game, and they won that. So now they are the CHSFL AAA Bowl Champions. Last year our Varsity team lost only one game all year to St. Anthonys Prep, and we wound up losing a heartbreaker in overtime to St. Anthonys for the Championship. Our JV team had a bad year, I can't remember the record. They didn't really do well..and my school has a big name in New York for being a big Sports school. They kinda embarrissed us, lol. They had issues at QB that they never really figured out, so that's part of the reason. Our Freshman team was lights out. I know Freshman doesn't matter really, but this is the future Varsity kids. They went undefeated and beat all of their opponents by alot. This was a great team this year, they're just going to move all the kids up to JV next year really because they're so good. In two years I can't wait to see how the Varsity team comes out.

Watch out for a good player on our Varsity team though..John Ferrara. He's going on a football scholarship to Michigan this year and he plays Defensive Tackle. Everyone is eager to see what he's gonna do as a Wolverine.

Division I, region 2. Canton McKinley. We lost to Massillon, of all teams...

I shoulda paid more attention to your post and I would have noticed the Joe Eitel link. I rely on that site so heavily during the season it's ridiculous.

St. X is going to be a tough team to beat. Good luck!

My high school's team sucks. But the city next to mine has like the number one team in the country, so I'll just pretend I went there.

Lets see, while I was in high school (I graduated in 2002) we won the league title all four years. My senior year was the 7th year in a row that we won (I think they didn't win the year after that). We went to districts all four years I was there, but typically lost in the 1st or 2nd round. The year before I went to the high school they went to state finals and lost. A couple years after I graduated I think they went to state finals and lost. This year they're ranked 1st in the state for 3A schools. They're undefeated right now and I think they've beaten quite a few teams by at least 50 points (I shit you not). I think they only had one touchdown scored on them during league play. They're on their way to the state semifinals right now. I really hope they win because our team has always come so close, but never gotten a state title.

There were 5,500 peopple from my town at the game last Friday. My town only has about 8,000 people in it. Over half the town was at the game. My town lives for Ferndale football.
