Well, some idiot has decided that putting our entire country in jeopardy is worth a few bucks. This guy sold secrets about the B2 bomber to 3 different countries.

I don't get it. I know people are greedy, and that people like money, but is it really worth putting hundreds of millions of lives at risk? This is just... so wrong. I can't even say anything else.

at least someone besides the arms industry is making money on this, and i bet he didn't even charge hundreds of billions on the taxpayers tab.

The government should worry about the people they don't catch, not the people they do. I'm glad they caught him, but there are still many more like him.

to be accurate, more than two decades ago, when Hussein first became president of Iraq he donated millions of dollars to a church in detroit, and so they mayor, as a sign of appreciation, gave him the keys to the city.

Haha, the B2 is much much more dangerous for people to know about than the F-16. The F-16 is not a terribly dangerous aircraft, to us or anyone else. And it's definitely not stealth.

The B2 is, as of yet, still completely classified, even to most of our own government. It's an aircraft meant for stealth, and carries out that function very well. It would be a disaster for anyone to know about it. Whereas the F-16 is old news, it's not really a threat. It's not like you can't shoot it down already.

As a USAF vet (or currently serving.... either way, thanks), you should already know that the F-16 that we sell to foreign customers is a stripped down version (rudimentary rader and electronics suite).

Haha i think i know what a B-2 is... Got briefed by the Chief of Staff yesterday... its gonna be replaced before too too long. The F-117 does most of the initial precision boming before we have secured air superiority (actually needing stealth) anyways... I know that we dont sell them top of the line F-16s, but with the newer model jets coming out of Russia and the east, and no fully combat ready F-22s yet, i dont like them having a full plane to check out. If a MiG could take out an F-15 in gulf war I, they can take out a 16. Dogfighting is a thing of the past. Anti-heat seaking tech on the B-2? Well they have to know its in the sky before they can scramble a jet to even try and shoot it down...

and thanks for the thanks, its so refreshing to see someone supportive in indie/punk/emo community that cares about the troops!

Well, as a former USMC Sergeant, I've walked a couple of miles in your shoes. I agree with you whole-heartedly...... We need to get as many F-22s fielded ASAP. With jets like the SU-31 coming out of Russia, as well as the new Eurofighter, we need something to maintain our Air Superiority during drawn out engagements.
