DiCaprio is my favorite actor out there right now. I really love all his performances, even if the movie sucks (i.e. Body of Lies). So its hard to choose just one, but I went with Billy Costigan from The Departed. Romeo is up there as one of my favorites as well.

Funnily enough I've seen almost every single one of these.

He's great in just about everything, but I think I could maybe narrow down a top 5 haha:

The Departed, The Aviator, Blood Diamond, Catch Me If You Can and Rome & Juliet (in no particular order).

Not sure which one I'd pick for a winner.

the Departed, I also think Blood Diamond is underrated though.

He was so good in The Aviator, I had to go with that. I think he's great in everything though.

I think Blood Diamond is the only movie where he doesn't seem like a boy to me anymore and I forget I'm watching Leonardo DiCaprio.

I went with Frank Abagnale Jr., its not his best but its definitely my favorite.

Tough choice, but I'm gonna have to go with The Departed. He was so amazing in that movie. Just phenomenal acting. One of the best actors today. His performance in Catch Me If You Can is probably second, with The Aviator close behind.

I had to go with Catch Me If You Can, it gets better if I see it. His performance in The Departed is just about flawless, however

Arnie is the only character he played that I did not find totally smug, at least of his movies that I've seen

He's been good in his newer roles, but he's still not the best character actor.

Arnie Grape is probably his best performance, but my favorite is Jim Carrol in Basketball Diaries.

ill be the first to admit that Im not the best at judging "phenominal acting performances"...but my favorite character and movie out of these was Catch me If you can...
