Show some local love. Guys just got signed to Fearless (ugh) but they totally deserve to be on a bigger label then Double Blind. Down to Earth guys and they know how to put on a great show.

Just discovered these guys through Fearless' Youtube channnel. Video for Autumn released just now. Very reminiscent of a certain Thursday video in my opinion.

Saw 'em once when they played with a couple of my friends bands. They put on a good show but I heard they weren't the nicest people. Haven't listened to the new stuff enough to get used to them without the screamer, but they can write a good pop rock tune.
Best Powerpop of the year. Blows RFTS out of the water, but was hyped up anywhere near as much.

I'm guessing they don't play any old stuff at all?

Band is fine for what it is. I've heard this whole pop-punk thing done better before, but they're a good summer band to just have fun whilst listening to. However, I can understand why people would really like them, as they're insanely catchy.

don't they do bachelors now? i got my AA in accounting there, now i'm studying marketing/advertising. most film majors i know go to full sail, but it's not a very legit school

Man, I'm glad somebody else agrees with me on Full Sail. It pisses me off when kids talk about how "Great" they think it will be, without doing any research into the institution. I hate hearing praise about Full Sail, and then I try to talk to people about it who haven't been there, and they just sort of write off my opinion. Me: yeah, have fun wasting your money.
Yeah, but only for stuff like business, nursing, and general shit. I know UCF has a very valid film program, even if it is a bit new. I know somebody who transferred from there.

yeah dude, i don't even think the degree you get is worth anything. most everyone i've known that went there dropped out because of the crazy work overload (speed learning). epic parties there though! haha
is that how it works? not sure when we started needed so many nurses but it seems that's what every girl in lakeland is trying to be. and i wouldn't know much about the film program here, i spend most of my time in the business department. what year are you?

yeah, I was going to go, but I started talking people in film and they all said that nobody would take me seriously.
yeah. I dunno when it blew up either, but it has. I'm 2011, if you're talkinga bout my AA. '13 for BA. how bout you?

that would be sweet! i wish you luck. yeah, i'm still considering going out of state. UCF is just if I can't find any place better out of state. and I want to get my masters too. It seems like even now having a bachelor's isn't enough sometimes.

Sparks the Rescue is a great band! I'm going to see them play with Go Radio and This Century on May 28th in Tallahassee and I can't wait. If anyone wants to check out the show get tickets here http://www.districtlinestour.com/. It's going to be an awesome show, plus This Century will be playing some songs off their new cd "Sound of Fire" which everyone should check out! http://www.thiscenturyband.com/

I listened to the new album a ton today, and I think it's awesome. At first it didn't really click, but now it does and I generally like all of the songs. On their other record there was tons of filler and it was hard to get into, in my opinion. I think (even though it's kind of typical) that the singer has a cool voice. They have some pretty cool riffs and guitar parts you wouldn't hear often in their genre too, so that's always good. The lyrics can be cheesy in parts, but I don't mind because most of them are decent and catchy. Even though I can't relate, I think it's almost kind of cool that some of the lyrics have drug references, because a lot of bands wouldn't be that straight-forward lyrically, and would probably prefer to take a "safer" route. My favorite song is either High and Hazy or Postcard Of A Tidal Wave, even though the title track is great too. They knocked it out of the park with the chorus on that one.

Haven't listened to this band since '09 dont know what happened i guess i just lost connection with this band,i have been spinning eyes to the sun alot lately so im going to give worst thing i've been cursed with a listen. Which are the most standout tracks which doesn't necessarily mean generic: timid acoustic ballad-uptempo song.
