Also, the band's new DVD, OMG HGB DVD ROTFL, is due out November 22nd, and features five music videos (4 unreleased), live footage, acoustic performances, a tour documentary, making of the videos and behind the scenes extras, and a slideshow from the lens of leader singer and creative force Forrest Kline.
I don't know how I've grown to like these guys..
At first I'm like "What is this crap?" but it's grown on me.
I'm excited.

Why?
because they are hellogoodbye

i never liked them. i thought bonnie tyler shakedown was disgraceful. made fun of my brother for liking them. and then i gave em another try and listened to the other 21 versions of bonnie tyler... and now i love them. the cover of enrique iglesias is funny/great
even though about half of the new cd will be newer versions of older songs.... older than the ones on the ep.Yes, the older 2004 demos like I Saw It On Your Keyboard and Angie.

they will get big because they have an amazing marketing ploy. They have successfully branded their image which is what needs to be done. Everything down to even the name of their dvd fits their "brand". I very much dig this band.

they will get big for these reasons( in no certain order)
1. real world
2. good looks
3. they look like hollister boys
4. catchy tunes
5. orignal
6. personality
7. everything they do is really "cute"
8. they have a bottle of hassle off lolz
9. teenage girls
10. the unfortunate trendiness of indie music

Funny how the first person to post a half sarcastic list of reasons why this band will be successful besides the fact that they're talented (including one saying that today's indie scene is unfortunately trendy) has a Starting Line avatar and a Fall Out Boy quote for a signature.
I like those bands. I also like Hellogoodbye. I don't like hypocrites.

Besides being talented, they will have Matt "Self" Mahaffey to produce. If you haven't listened to Self I suggest you give him a listen.
They will click and the album will be awesome.
i can't wait for the album, it took so long, fucking geffen, if not them we would have this album now :) but anyway i'm patient, i'll just wait ;)
