It's only letting me use 20 for the poll, so go with the choices I've given.

I voted Riddler, no idea why, maybe it's because I just saw the commerciat about the guy with the book that saves you money by cheating the government. I don't know, I dig all of the batman bad guys.
Ra's Al Ghul owned as far as the movies go, but I've been out of the comic for quite some time.

Easily The Joker. He is badass.

I'm going with Scarecrow. One of my favorite cartoons growing up was the Batman one that was all dark and stuff. My other favorites were Two-Face and Mad Hatter.
I kinda wish they had gone with Mad Hatter in the movie and had Martin Short play him. Him and the Scarecro would have made for an uber creepy movie.

Yeah, in retrospect, I should have chosen the Scarecrow.

Batman should have been dead long ago. They've had him captured so many times.

Joker's by far my favorite. Ra's Al Ghul comes in at #2. And no, not the one who's in the movie. The one in the cartoons and comics. He was great.

For me, Ra's Al Ghul, between the cartoon and the comics, was easily the best Batman villain. The Joker was the classic easy choice, but in altogether "man he can fuck up Batman" truth, I gotta go with Ra's, especially with the fact he totally owned the entire Justice League once, and took Batman's parents dead bodies and threatened to toss them in the Lazarus Pit. Classic.
Also, after the movie with Liam Neeson saying hey, I'm going to be the biggest badass ever, love me. You know what, I listened. Fucking great, Ra's Al Ghul FTW.

there're many to pick from, this will take some time.
Anyone remember the episode in batman the animated series with the gigantic maze and the hand that would swoop you up and take you back to the begin if you went the wrong way.

oh ya it was sexy...all the shit outta the labyrinth...I loved how he just reprogrammed the hand to take him to the end of the maze instead of the beginning. No other "super hero" knows jack about electrical engineering...that's why I respect batman.

I am going for Scarecrow. I am not just going for him cos he was in Batman Begins either. He was my favourite before then. Next I would choose Two-Face or The Ventriliquist. He is so lame that he is cool.

All these villains pale in comparison to Joker. He will always be the best.
You forgot some biggies on your list: Black Mask & Hugo Strange.

The Joker by far, and it funny how many people have a joker avatar in this thread. But i don't blame them. He is going to be sweet in the new batman movie.
Had to say Two-Face after reading The Long Halloween.

Two Face is my favorite. His story is just so fucked up, being a friend of Bruce and Gordon, and then his painful past coming back through his disfiguring. I love his fall into insanity and his chemistry with Batman. Their past is so interesting.

My favorite is Hush because of his similarity to Bruce Wayne. Hush is characterized extremely well, enough that you feel like both he and Batman could just as easily filled each other's roles in a different world. I also like Hush because he's a foray into a newer, gimmickless* Batman series. Hush represents the realistic evil that this world has, and I fucking love that.
*and don't get me wrong, I love the classic characters and their flamboyant personalities, but change is always good.

It was between Ra's Al Ghul/Two-Face and the Joker for me but I picked The Joker because of my love for A Killing Joke and he has so much depth to his character compared to most of the other villians

I'm a huge fan of the cartoon and the movies, and two-face always seemed to be my favorite, though I'm also a fan of riddler, scarecrow and joker (heath ledger is gonna own). The cartoon had some sweet episodes too, like the ones with with the mad hatter, penguin, sewer king, Al ghul and the ventriloquist. and also that fat dude in a white suit that was always eating a chicken leg.

It was a toss up between Joker/Bane for me...the image of Bane breaking Batman's back was unbelievable to me when I was younger
Went with the Joker cause he is the only one that still gives me the creeps

Bane broke Batmans back and took him out, so I'd say he is a big threat. But The Joker and Ra's Al Ghul are the 2 most important I'd say.
