Here are some recommendations for all of you:
The New Pornographers (http://www.thenewpornographers.com) - Some good ol' indie-pop never hurt anybody, especially not when it sounds this good. Twin Cinemas, the bands latest, is definitely a good time.
Five Iron Frenzy (http://www.fiveironfrenzy.com) - I realize I'm not the ska boy around here, but I can't help skanking my little heart out whenever I hear Our Newest Album Ever. Catchy tunes with a positive message, and just a lot of fun to listen to.
Billy Joel (http://www.billyjoel.com) - I'm not afraid to admit it - I enjoy a bit of Billy Joel from time to time. Whether it's his powerful ballads like Piano Man or Movin' Out (Anthony's Song), or his rocking pop songs like "Tell Her About It" and "Only The Good Die Young," Billy Joel has got a number a great tunes that can't be denied.
Also, I recommend you all have a happy Halloween. What did everyone dress up as? I went as a Ghostbuster along with some buddies, photon-packs and all... we did all of it ourselves from scratch too, so it was impressive. Anyways, have a good weekend.
