Mike Herrera's Tumbledown is playing this show in Portland as main support on March 28th.
How is Ace not headlining this?
And why'd he drop the hometown show?

I went to this show last night!! FUCKING EPIC!!! I really think no one should post a Craig Owens set list becasue he just pulls so many surprizes and you wont expect it! Me and my gf had a blast! If you really wanna know the setlist pm me and I will give it to you, but I suggest you just wait an experience the magic!

I guess Ace Enders dropped out for good. At least that's what I've heard. They'll be in Cleveland on April 4th, and I'm pretty bummed that he's not on this anymore. Did anyone hear otherwise?

He is still listed for the Seattle show, which is March 29th so I'm not sure where you heard he dropped off the tour.

I'm going to this for Ace & Mike, but I just found out that Brian Southall (TREOS) is tour manager for this, and on his Myspace, he's asking people to talk to him. Did anyone get that privilege? I hope I'll recognize him.
I went tonight, the show was pretty fantastic. It sucked though because we got there just as Ace Enders was playing so we missed Versa Emerge, Tumbledown and Mike Herrera. Both Ace and Craig, Mike & Brian were awesome. For part of the show, Craig unplugged and just sat on the stage with everyone crowded around him playing songs. It was very chill, which is very nice compared to the usual shows I go to.

No he's not on it. Pisses me off so I am no longer going to the show. I think the concert is the 9th of April though in Cleveland.

Just got back from the show at Chain Reaction. Ace did fricking awesome. Here's the set list. Everything is correct just not the correct order. He pulled out some good ones... enjoy.
Motion.
New Song (he said he was testing this one out)
Reaction.
The Only Thing I Have (The Sign).
Bittersweet Symphony.
Timshel.
The Best Happiness Money Can Buy.
For All Of This.
Body Like Mine.
When I Hit the Ground.
Ever So Sweet.
Awesome set the crowd was into the whole thing. Also I'd like to say CONGRATULATIONS! He and his wife have confirmed they are expecting their first child. There was a tip jar that said "tips for the baby" with an ultrasound pic taped on it. So awesome! Everyone should definitely check out this show if its coming to your town.

ATTN Seattle people: Craig Owens is in the hospital right now (he didn't play Portland tonight) so I wouldn't expect him to play tomorrow.
Tumbledown was really fun to see. Ace did a GREAT job - he basically headlined, played for an hour. He even played Dammit and had the audience sing along. I hope he comes back on his own headlining tour. I'll be there.

saw this tour last wednesday at chain reaction in anaheim. versaemerge were nothing special. gay blades were by far the most energetic of the groups, very entertaining to watch. ace enders might hands down be the sweetest guy on earth. craig owens was adorable, had a great live voice and good personality to match it. was a very good show minus the 30 minute dull versa set.

So tonight me and two friends went to the Craig Owens acoustic tour at the Phili stop. I was really excited about the line up months ago when I bought the tickets since Ace Enders was on the bill, but even with him dropping off to do the AAR tour, I was still stoked about The Color Fred and Craig Owens. I have never been to the upstairs of the Troc before, just downstairs, and loved it. Reminds me of the Saint in Asbury Park, really small, I can not see it being more than a 200 cap tops.
The night started out with a band I had never heard of called The Silent Years, myspace.com/thesilentyears. They were awesome in my opinion, had a Format sort of sound, and played a 30 minute set. I was not familiar with any of their songs, but picked up their CD and definitely suggest checking them out.
Second, was the Color Fred. Since he was born and raised in the area, West Chester, I was expecting a huge crowd response for him, but no one in the crowd seemed to know who he was. Anyway, he played roughly a 45 minute set including, Complaintor, Get Out, If I Surrender, Hate to See You Go, I’ll Never Know, a new one from the acoustic ep the intervention, a Breaking Pangea song, Lullaby, another new one, and a Taking Back Sunday song, American Classic, in no particular order. He was spot on, and after his set I walked over to the merch table and bought the new acoustic ep, coming out on April 18 for record store day, and chatted with him for a minute. He was saying how he usually plays more songs, but the sets were short tonight. He is such a genuine and nice guy, and takes the time to talk to all his fans, he was at the merch table all night talking to everyone and anyone who came up to him. By the way, the ep is awesome! check it out when it comes out on April 18.
Next, was Chiodos and Cinematic Sunrise frontman, Craig Owens. This is where things started to get weird... The first few songs played included drums courtesy of Brian Southall and guitar by Nick Martin. Songs played by the trio, and by Craig solo were, in no particular order, Baby, You Wouldn’t Last (a slower version, very hard to follow did not flow well to me), A Letter From Janelle, I Didn’t Say I was Powerful, Intensity in Ten Cities, Umbrellas and Elephants, You Told Me, a song written for his girlfriend on valentines day, a backstreet boys cover, and a bright eyes cover. The crowd was absolutely the worst crowd I had ever seen. Obnoxious girls yelling they could not see so thats why they weren’t “letting lose” and another annoying girl screaming at the top of her lungs obnoxiously and unnecessarily. Craig several times stated how he was dissapointed with the phili audience tonight, and even did not do the “kum ba ya” style acoustic part of the set because “phili was not ready for it.” At the end when the crowd chanted one more song, no one returned to the stage. In fact, I do not blame them. Craig’s and Nick’s twitters after the show even showed the dissapoinment.
All in all, the bands played excellent, but the crowd absolutely sucked. I don’t know what it was but it was not the normal rowdy phili crowd bands are accustomed to.
