i've been told the movie high tension was either really good or really bad. i got mix feelings from all my friends. did anybody here see it? im wondering if i should netflix that shit.

I was going to rent it the other night but no copies were left. I loved the trailers for it though.

one of the guys that i work with also works at a video store.
total movie buff, said this was the first movie that genuinely scared him in a long time.
enough for me to check it out.


although i havent yet.
oh welll.

i was really disappointed by it. Stupid ending, a few good scenes of gore but not worth the rest of the film.

it's worth watching if it comes on tv and you have nothing else to do. i didn't find it the least bit scary, so i'm not sure if you movie buff friend is a 12 year old girl or what. haha just kidding.

also, i should mention that it has some insanely large plot holes. if you get bothered by HUGE gaps in the narrative, then you probably won't love this movie.

The only movie I ever wanted to walk out of was The Forgotten. Dear god, that sucked.

And I have no idea about this High Tension movie, I don't remember it.

haha in the first 5 minutes there was like this pig looking guy with a head, not a body, making it suck his dick...then they started singing some song in french and ahh just wrong time for us to be seeing it i guess haha

im actually watching right now. the head, head thing was sick. its actually not bad, gross, not scary, just gross. some kills are fake. I can see why someone would say this movie sucked, especially if they saw it in theaters as it was dubbed. Ive already switched it over to subtitles cause i can't watched dubbed movies unless its kung fu.

nevermind, it wasn't good. the movie showed promise, but it sucked at the end. definitely not worth 4 bucks. I should have rented the Woodsman.

thank you. the dubbing for high tension was atrocious. always stick to subtitles. this movie had style to spare, and some disturbing scenes, but it really didn't add up for me. an average movie for me that had a lot of potential

saw 2 was sooooooo much better than high tension. its cool that high tension is a french movie and not as big... but it wasn't really that good. I think if this was a big studio movie, NO ONE would have liked it. If i judge it by a different standard, then sure it might be good... but i'm not gonna lower my standards for this movie.
