So I just got my tickets to go see The Get Up Kids at the Troubadour this April and I couldn't help but notice the opening band – Train the Dentist. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be any record of there being a band called Train the Dentist, no matter how much Googling I do. So, the question is, who the fuck is Train the Dentist? Or rather, what band is using "Train the Dentist" as their code name/anagram?

It's gotta be someone under a code name - the night before Bamboozle.

I'm stoked TGUK's playing, otherwise I wouldn't have bought the tickets. The fact of the matter is that, considering this'll be one of the first date's they play on the west coast since their break-up, I'm just curious as to who could be opening for them. And since Train the Dentist doesn't seem to be a real band, I'm hoping it's another "big" band (Saves the Day, Brand New, etc.), thus making it an even more awesome show.

Note: I know it's not Brand New since they have a show booked for the 3rd in New Jersey ...

Well, considering that guy only has last night's date on his show calendar, that still leaves tonight's opener a mystery. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. The Troubadour site doesn't even show TtD anymore, just TGUK ...

I hate surprises ...

The name "Miniature Tigers" reminds me of "Tim's Tiny Tigers" from Tim and Eric.
