View Full Version : Jared Making A Weird Request Once Again
Jared Kaufman

So, this is going to be a weird request from me, but if you can help, then it'd be greatly appreciated. If you've seen Saw and / or Saw 2, do you know the composer, artist, title, etc. of the song played when the twist and ending in the first film occurs and when the (without giving anything away) guy "gets his own number" in the second one? I'm sure someone here knows what song I'm refering to. So, like said, if you can provide me with any information or the song itself, then I'd love you forever.

I thought Saw II was a little better. It had a lot better production and I thought the storyline was more complex. Either way, they're both sick movies
I don't know anything about the score, though. Sorry

Well looking at imdb, there's only one person who gets credit for having original music in each movie, and that's Charlie Clouser. I still haven't seen the second one, it's on my to-do list. I just saw Waiting. BAT WING!

I beg to differ. The first one had some insanely poor acting at times; however, it redeemed itself w/ that awesome ending and this song I'm refering to. Saw 2 had a couple parts where the acting was meh, but it was awesome seeing more characters involved and how they pulled off making a sequel with a ending just as good as the first. I'm a sucker for a film with twists, turns and crazy endings so I appreciated it. I could've done w/o some of the gore and the fact people in the theatre were laughing and cheering when people were dying (which seriously disturbs me), but this one was definitely more well-rounded and definitely proves there is such a thing as a good sequel - you just have to do it right.

try listening to a few of the samples.... I think it was written for the movie

those movies are sweet, if you go in expecting an academy award winning film you are seeing the wrong genre and movie.

Thank you so much! It's Charlie Clouser "Hello Zepp" and "Zepp Overture" for any of those interested. Those songs are so intense especially while watching the movies because of the key parts they play them at. So good. Thanks again!

They actually don't have the song listed on the second soundtrack; however, it is on the soundtrack for the first one - I assume they just re-used it.

I liked the storyline better in this one, but I thought the acting was not as good. And there was a lot of really cheesy parts. I wasn't expecting an " academy award winning film." It just wasn't that great of a movie. The last one scared me, and this one didn't. It just didn't have as much in it as the last.

I totally want that song mentioned in this thread. I was thinking about buying the first OST just for that song since I really want to hear it in its entirety. Just for the record, I preferred Saw to Saw II. The twist in Saw was so unexpected when the twist in Saw II could be figured out if you actually thought about it.

If you are talking about the one non-soundtrack song in SAW 2, i'm pretty sure it is a clip from "Sound Effects And Overdramatics" by the Used, but i could be wrong.

is that the movie tarantino directed?Tarantino didn't direct it, Eli Roth (Cabin Fever) did. Tarantino is just "presenting" it, tacking his name onto the beginning like he did with Hero.
