Have any of you heard anything from the new album American Soldier?

The album features songs inspired by interviews with war veterans conducted by singer Geoff Tate, who was intent on telling their story using their words.

After speaking with soldiers who served in various conflicts—from World War II to Iraq—Tate turned their firsthand experiences from the frontlines into an unflinching musical examination of the life of a solider and the consequences of war.

Didn't know they were coming out with a new album. Anyways, they haven't been the same without Chris Degarmo and Mindcrime II sucked. Will probably check out though for old times sake.

This, exactly. The one song I heard wasn't exactly promising.

One of my favorites off of Mindcrime. Of course the whole album is win, but whatever.
