Contrary to what Aaron of Denver Harbor (www.purevolume.com/denverharbor) said earlier (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=93769) (he was drunk), tomorrow's Fenix Tx / Allister (www.allisterrock.com) / Houston Calls (www.houstoncalls.com) / A Day At The Fair (www.dayatthefair.net) show in Arkansas WILL go on, however, there's a catch. Fenix TX and Denver Harbor WILL NOT be playing, due to Will's strained vocal chords. Both bands apologize for the confusion and the cancellation of their sets.

It seems like Fenix TX are dropping off one show a week on this tour.

I talked to Will at the Tulsa show tonight and the guy barely has a voice. They were contemplating not coming at all -- but they ended up playing the version of the show described earlier with guest vocalists from all of the other bands as well as various members of the crowd. They pretty much took requests and played whatever.

Taking the day off tomorrow however, is most definately in the band's best interest as Will really needs the rest. If they don't cancel this show it might lead to more and more cancellations -- you can't really play a show without a singer. Basically -- just bear with them -- things should be better in a short period of time.

you can so play a show without a singer. it might be a little odd, but you can do it. and some bands dont even have singers!

Allister singer could sing for Fenix TX... or something. I'm really sure that the 90% of the people going to that show just want to see Fenix playing again.

i would be happy of they cancelled. after seeing the pathetic set they played in st. louis i will never support that band again. For 1 they were all wasted on stage. 2. they asked for requests and when people yelled the out they said "were not playing that fucking song, so stop asking" 3. They played a bunch of fucking cover songs. 4. They share a bassist with Pantera.

Hint if youre going to do a reunion tour do it for the fucking fans not just to make some money.

Well, when I saw them in Baltimore they were excellent. They played one cover song, which was awesome (Journey -Any Way You Want It). And I'm guessing that the song that was being "requested" was probably The Rooster Song, and I completely understand them not wanting to play a joke song that they wrote for fun when they were much younger.

in Atlanta, the Fenix guys were so wasted on stage as expected, there's a reason these guys broke up, they can't sober up enough to get shit together

Wow...I was really pissed that I couldn't drive two hours to see this tour. Now I feel extremely lucky.
