haha ya thats my favorite part of any of our songs, we dont really sound like those songs anymore, more like from a second story window.

i havent heard of that band, but if they have a sexy bass drop i will check it

What are some other good post rock bands esides Mogwai, Pelican, A Silver Mount Zion, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Do Say Make Think, Fly Pan Am, Explosions in the Sky, Tortoise, and Set Fire to Flames? (and i guess broken social scene can kinda be thrown in there.. i think)

and expect there to be a huge wave of pelican and isis rip offs. this style of music is gonna get bigger.

for similar bands, look for some neurosis or cult of luna. they have a pretty similar sound.
