It was a political ploy, but at least it was something from the party.

Blah blah blah the Democrats don't do anything. You wanna know why? Because they have too many Republican messes to clean up to try and have an agenda of their own.

You know what would be interesting? If people got some shit done without constantly having to blame someone for everything.

I heart Harry Reid.
Frist's reaction was great. "The U.S. Senate has been hijacked by the Democratic leaders. They have no convictions, they have no principles, they have no ideas"

Conservative: The democrats must show some life, and stop being so passive.
*Democrats act*
Conservative: They're extremists for taking this road!

Frist is just pissed because he's being investigated (in a bold move by the left, and a smart one at that, bitch is guilty as sin) and he knows that he's gonna get the book thrown at him by those same democrats (and republicans). His tough guy talk won't last to long when bubba the democrat is plowing his ass up in the good ol' jailhouse.

haha, yeah ...you totally hit that nail on the head. Why do we elect these people?

That's because much of the time they are extremists on many roads.
Neither party is right, plain and simple. Insane conservatism, lack of tolerance, and religious decisionmaking is completely idiotic. But then again, lack of support for the world of business, insane environmentalism, and terrible economics are not any better. (Perhaps worse; which is why I'm moderate, but still lean towards the right.)
We need somewhere in between. Plain and simple. Sorry dems, we're not going to ditch oil and become an agrarian society. And no, you aren't progressive either. Your ideas about new energy sources are idiotic. Too expensive. And technology takes a long time to produce. we aren't there yet.
And likewise, conservatives, gay people are not evil, black people are not evil, God does not matter to some Americans, and that's just fine. Oh, and yes, money and economics are very important, and are very good things, but earning it at the cost of fellow Americans who get paid less isn't the way to do it.
Nobody is right. Both parties would drive this country into some pretty shitty places. We need a good mix of both. The parties need to start looking at more moderate candidates.

That was a great line for sure, but my favorite was one they didn't include in this article where Frist said that his feelings were hurt and he wasn't sure he could trust Reid anymore.

Don't think for a second that liberal extremism is any better than conservative extremism. Both extremes are ridiculous.
And don't tell me the liberals aren't usually extreme. Perhaps some of you aren't, but the party itself is insane.

alot of the ideas are good, the lack of a realistic plan to get them off ground and initiative are bad, but i will say this for liberal extremists.........i'm sure they're alot funner to hang out with then conservative extremists.
