did anyone else see this movie? The trailer was so misleading...still pretty good, though. cant complain. it had some of the funniest moments ive ever seen...it was just so awkward to watch.

yea, i suggest waiting. Its actually really good, but i went in expecting a dark comedy, and it was really a DARK comedy, alot of it was just very very bizarre and uncomfortable to watch...i loved it and hated it at the same time

i loved it and hated it at the same time
thats how I felt about the movie, Closer. It's honestly the one movie that I just couldnt grasp because of my age. Like sexual competition is something that cannot make sense of yet.

So many digressions.

Nic Cage is at his best when he plays these types of characters, ala Adaptation, Matchstick Men, etc. I am happy that this is finally out after seeing the trailer what seems like a year ago.

yes! he did a lot of great stuff earlier too (raising arizona, honeymoon in vegas, etc.) And yes. watch him in Adaptation. It lets all the 1990's Jerry Bruckheimer schmuck slide.

I loved Matchstick Men. I was really tired when I saw Adaptation though. I need to give that another go.
