Alright, there's this girl who's in two of my classes that I've been talking to a lot lately, and I realized some time last week that I really like her, she's awesome.

One problem, she's the ex of one of my old friends. This kid and I don't really talk much anymore, mostly because he's a shady motherfucker now, but like, their breakup really messed him up.

Now, should I go for it and ask this girl out, because I'm pretty convinced that she likes me too, or should I not and avoid putting myself in a shitty situation with my friend.

In all honesty, I'm probably going to ask her out anyways, but like, I just want to get some feedback here.

Well you said that you don't really talk to him anymore, so I don't really see a problem with you asking that girl out. If he's got a problem with it, it's got nothing to do with you or her: he's got to deal with his own stuff. Good luck dude.

dont mind him. hes just jealous cuz your getting play and even his hand is rejecting him.

you could always talk about it with your ex friend and make sure everything is straight between you two.

if you dont talk to him i dont see the problem. i dont know if he would have a problem with it. but its not like it would matter cos you two arent super tight

Either way, I'd say go for it. If he was a closer friend, you could talk to him about it, but it doesn't seem like that is the case.
