Haha very true. I mean, sure I voted Brand New on this but that's because I just can't get into Say Anything. If BN is on a poll then the poll is pointless because Brand New will take it. The only band who will beat them is Blink. It's pretty much a guaranteed. Leave Blink and BN off the polls and it becomes a lot more interesting.

i cant vote. deja is one of the most important albums in my life, and easily like a top 5 pop-punk album (maybe even top 3), but IARB is just the most well written album (musically) in the genre period.

I think the 'Music Mayhem' thing they are running on here the next couple weeks is going to come down to Brand New v. Blink 182. It would almost be better if both were left out until the winner is picked. Then put the winner against BN and Blink.

That's very true. It's probably guaranteed if they are on it then one of them will win and I'm putting my money on Blink. If they are left out it would make things more interesting. I'm not a Say Anything fan but I do think SA will be on top of the Mayhem as well. I like the March Mayhem idea a lot and can't wait to see what bands they put on and who is victorious.

that is a very tough call. "deja entendu" by a smidge. although the fact that Bemis was a teenager when he wrote "...is a real boy" is pretty freakin phenomenal. Jesse was already 24 or 25 when they wrote Entendu. But Entendu came out in 2003, a full year before "is a real boy" had a scene impact.

really, there's no wrong answer to this poll. you can defend either opinion with ease.

Deja Entendu for plenty of reasons: it got me through my last years of high school,it's one of those records that all my friends and I know every word to so it's automatic a good hang out/party cd, I started playing drums a few months before it came out and this really helped me learn a lot about drumming, the songs have a lot of meaning to it that I can relate to (girls, egos, death). I love it so much, I got the astronaut tattooed on me. The end.
