Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross aka The Schizo, a veteran Expendable and leader of the team.
Jet Li as Bao Thao, a hmong-American Expendable and an expert at hand-to-hand combat.
Jason Statham as Lee Christmas, a British-American Expendable and second in command of the team. He is a former S.A.S. soldier and expert at Close Quarters Combat using knives

Stalone asked Kurt Russell to join the cast, but he said no.

I know that many people on the site have asked for Kurt Russell. I asked for him too. Actually, I was taken aback when asked to put the request in a letter and send it to his agent. Subsequently, I was called back by the agent several days later after refusing to send a letter and he said Kurt Russell is not interested in ‘ensemble acting’ at this time.

I am pretty sure I read that, there will be testosterone tests given out at at the theater before you get your ticket.

And it said if you test below "alpha male" status, you are not permitted to see this movie.

Sucks if true, I know you really want to see this movie LongDistanceDrunk....but that rule will definately keep you from watching

The music of todays action movies pale in comparison to the old 80's movies. Terminator still has the best music for an action movie. I really hope this movies has the same feel as say Cobra, Raw Deal, or Commando...but with LESS cheese.

This could go bad if it goes to Transporter route.
