I vote Diddy Kong hands down. Had some of the best stuff, more boards, better one player mode multiplayer challenges. That thing kicked ass. MY NAME'S DRUMSTIIICK!!!!

So was diddy kong, plus it had better multi the plane and hover were awesome addons the upgraded weapons and the all new characters like conker and banjo.

I don't own a single video game system and I never have. Three girls I know have a house a few minutes from my apartment and they have N64 and SNES so I go over there and kick everyone's ass at least once a week.

I actually beat the game on both adventure one and two. Damn I remember that game; once my move gets all settled out I'm definitely starting a new file on that game :)

Both are 2 of my favorite games ever. My roomates and I still play Mario Kart religiously (and I dominate of course). DK Racing I just beat again over the summer. I refuse to vote.

FINALLY, a video game thread I can relate to...

DK with the adventure aspect brought into it is awesome

I really wish I hadn't sold my copy of Diddy Kong. God that game was fun. The final race against Wizpig was awesome.

But I seriously think that the original MarioKart had the best multiplayer and Double Dash!! is the best game for racing there is in terms of fun. The control is flawless.

Yeah I liked the controls in MK much more. I think I liked DKR more because it gave me new things the MK boards were just new variations. The DKR game was freakin nuts the characters and boards. The challenges in multiplayer the hidden keys it was crazy. I loved the hover craft and it had better graphics. I just liked it much more in terms of scope.

In terms of quality racer MK wins. Which is why I said fun not better in the poll. ;)

So anyways ton ton. I started up jet force gemini today. This will be like my 50th time through.

I agree with Darren that most of my friends preferred Mario Kart so that made it more fun for me. If Mario Kart could implement the add-ons that DKR had, that would be something because DKR had so many cool things in it as have been listen in this thread.

Funny because I played Mario Kart 64 for the first time in a while today. I forgot how fucking fun that game is. Diddy Kong was freaking awesome though. Just because it was an actual story/adventure type game. Good times.

Easily 2 of the best games ever..but Mariokart. I can pwn anybody at that. Though Diddy Kong had more variety and an amazing one player, mariokart pretty much owned by childhood.
