it kills me to say it, because i adore "Mute Print", but after listening to this one for months now, it's a letdown. i can't give it higher than an 8, which is great, but i had some hope that this would be the best album ever, let down by my own hype.

Vinyl- hey, if you want your source of music to have that interesting, yet delightful smell, have we got something for you (warning: if you hate anything that your parents and/or grandparents my find "hip"/"cool" you may not want vinyl)

i love the smell of vinyl in the morning, thats why i keep my box of records next to my bed. now if i only had a working record player.

And i love this CD! I cant wait to see them live on the 20th w/ TREOS :thumbsup:

I never saw them play, but I can imagine their energy!

i agree, ruiner is not mute print. but i think mure print is about as close to a perfect album as i own.

I guess I'm in the minority, because I like Ruiner more than Mute Print.

like i said, it's not that 'Ruiner' isn't good, it's just that Mute Print was a masterpiece in my opinion. i also have lots of good memories asscociated with it, so maybe i'm biased. to each his own, you know.

by the way Jason, when i hit the apostrophe key in this windown it knocks me out of the typing box. ay idea what's up with that? everytime i do it i gotta go back and retype.

Jason is correct. Ruiner is better than Mute Print. Not that mute print isn't amazing. these guys just put out a better release every time.
