I've been looking at the forums on this site and have been wondering about something, why all the hate on Hey Monday? Some of you just list that you don't like them because they have a female as a lead singer, but yet some of you listen to Paramore. So technically you who say that are hippocrates. Then some of you say you don't like them because they became too famous too quick. That they only released one album and are already went on a world tour with Fall Out Boy. I honestly don't understand how that could be a reason for hating them, unless you are of course jealous of their success. Now I know this is a public forum and your allowed to post anything you want, but c'mon, don't you haters have something better to do then going online and talking trash about a band. Who really cares if they a pop band, they still give all they got on stage and are extremely talented. I like many bands like A Day To Remember and The Devil Wears Prada, and yet I still like Hey Monday. So don't be shy to listen to them, once you heard Cassadee's voice I swear you'll be hooked. So i'm just saying half of you probably haven't even heard a song from Hey Monday, and just trash them because their pop and have a female as their vocalist. Just hear me out and give them a chance, just pop in your headphones, turn on How You Love Me Now or Candles, and i'm sure you'll enjoy it. Here's to Hey Monday! I'll always be one of your fans, no matter what people say. If by any chance Cassadee or any member reads this just ignore what the people say on the boards and just rock out loud!

They're disposable pop rock, with very little depth or meaning.

Oh and I've heard Cassidy's (I refuse to spell it any other way) voice, and no, I was not hooked.

I'm sexist, so any band with a chick singer is automatically disqualified.

Maybe nobody likes Hey Monday because their music is unoriginal, disposable and quite frankly not good. It's not because we're sexist or jealous or shy. It's because this shit has been done a million times before and we're fucking tired of it.

I don't mind it.
It's pretty catchy, and she has a pretty decent voice.
I personally think that Hey Monday made the album Paramore fans want...which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
