Since Cartel is playing a few shows in the region before heading out to Japan soon I took advantage. They came to see us up in Raleigh, NC tonight with Vaya, Class of 98 and The Mile After. And what an amazing set. For everyone who doesnt know The Brewery is a pretty historic venue in our area. But its tiny. Situated almost on the campus of NCSU. But TINY. Anyways, Vaya is a band from Atl and pretty good. Ive never heard of them but decent. Class of 98 rocked it and I loved it. Theyre worth seeing live. The Mile After is a hometown band and got the hometown reaction. It should be noted The Brewery never really sells out. They just keep taking money and packing people in. So packed house there is by far more than ever should be in that building. It was packed house. If anyone has never seen FratDaddies mosh, go to a show in Raleigh when The Mile After is playing. Its quite a sight. Cartel played the hell out of it. They didnt play Save Us or Matter of Time because of the lack of proper equipment, but for only the second time in history played Q and A live. We were blessed. Props to the guys for that because they were all about to drop from exhaustion. But those songs are absolutely so much better live. There is no comparison. There should be pictures soon on corruptedlens.net and possibly film of the show if I can find it.
