Gavin Castleton is an Electronica/Neo-Soul/Pop Act originating from Providence, Rhode Island (lives in Portland Oregon now). He was originally the Keyboardist and one of the vocalists for a band Called "Gruvis Malt" which founded the Futurock genre (Amazing Music). They broke up a few years ago however. From it, Gavin decided to pursue his solo work. In all honesty, I think this man is one of the greatest composers ever. Every album is completely different from the last (he's released 5 Lp's, 2 Ep's, and another LP in conjunction with Cyrus Leddy). He's done Pop, Rock, Rap, Spoken Word, Electronica, Folk, Soul, and others. Plus, he has a great voice to boot!
For me it's extremely surprising that someone this talented is not known at all. He has recently released an album called "Home" and is on a small tour to promote it. Check him out and be amazed
