I recommend...Belle & Sebastian. Because they have a new album coming out soon. So go listen to "If You're Feeling Sinister."

And also listen to Rachel's. Beautiful. That's all i can say about that.

hutch and kathy - wonderful 60s pop-inspired ditties from two-thirds of the thermals.

billy bragg - one of the defining artists in the anti-folk movement. chances are, he has influenced at least one of your favorite bands.

ida - i don't even know what to say about them. "laurel blues" is one of the most beautiful things to ever enter my ears.

the beatles - who else appreciates the geinus that is "octopus's garden"?

tilly and the wall - their cuteness makes me smile.

88 miles per hour - rock group from Pigeon, MI (in the thumb). they are on Anathallo's old label (Selah Records). and like Anathallo, they are very under-appreciated. visit their sites: myspace (http://myspace.com/88milesperhour) purevolume (http://www.purevolume.com/88milesperhour) official site (http://88rock.com/)
