Fans report in: Rooney (http://www.rooney-band.com) played several news songs from their upcoming album during their set in Atlanta at The Tabernacle with The Academy Is... (http://www.theacademyis.com) and The All-American Rejects (http://www.allamericanrejects.com). A couple of the songs titles were "Enough's Enough" and "Paralyze." The new tunes have a bit more of an edge, good time rockin' style! So good that during the second song of the set Ned busted his kickdrum head. The band played on with Taylor ripping some guitar and Matt joined back in on the next song. Rob said the new album is slated for April 2006 release.

This tour is stopping at an ice hockey arena in a suburb of Pittsburgh about 1 hour from the city. It just so happens the arena is a 5 minute walk from my house. I'll definitely be there. I'm really anxious to hear Rooney's new stuff.
