chiodos will release another record and it will be more accesable, and underoath kids will eat them like easy mac.

but, a safer bet would be the early november.

sign to major, rerecord something that produces results, release it as a single, and they're set.

You're right, both are good though. I would like to see Death Cab do something big and im sure Taking Back Sunday will be bigger once their major label debut comes out.

Probably P!ATD because its Fall Out Boy 2 and people (for some reason) eat that shit up. If MCS doesn't make it huge with Commit this to Memory, then they most likely will with their next CD. I would love to see The Early November finally get the recognition that they deserve, but they won't because they're music isn't as "catchy" as pop-punk. And because they are signed to Drive Thru Records. And of course, DTR is too busy making DVDs and making sure that Hellogoodbye and their countless shitty singer/songwriters get like fifty tours a year. hmm... I wonder what the RX Bandits are doing?

Thursday's new album will completely destory Thrice's Vheissu.

Thursday's old albums already completely destroy Vheissu. The new one will completely bury it into the ground and people will be left wondering "Thrice made an album?"

i think the receiving end of sirens next video is gonna get them some major airplay. their video for planning a prison break is #5 on mtv.com right now. thats crazy considering they havent had much push behind the video. they are rereleasing the album with some new songs and a dvd in february too. watch out

In 2006, I'm pretty sure that both TAI and P!ATD will be huge. Along with them, I can see Paramore getting more and more recognizable. Acceptance will be big, Nightmare of You will be a huge college band, Saosin will get more and more play, and I can see Anberlin finally being able to get the attention that they deserve.

i don't think TAI will make it. panic, maybe. people would get them confused with fallout boy and not know who they are (i've seen it 4 times)

NOY wouldn't go anywhere.

saosin, if they release the full length.

paramore, YES. if they get off FBR.

its going to be fall out boy. i infact hate this band, but judging how they win the audio scrobbler every week, their mainstream success and their new album being "redefining", my guess would be them.

I still hate them.

Aren't they already the next big band? I swear, questions on this website are never answered correctly. I continue with my Gatsby's assertion if they ever write choruses. Minus the Bear would be huge if they wanted it, one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Flawless.

I just want existing bands to blow peoples minds. I am really hoping that people 'get' Action Action. I think they are amazing and deserve some more attention. I think 2005 has been an awesome year for music so my prediction is that 2006 may be a little quieter. I know there are a number of releases penned in for next year but i still think this year has been a hard one to top.

my chem's new album will probably once again land them on trl...the one song they played off it on the reggie/alk3 tour had an intro that sounded an awful lot like 'this photograph is proof'...anyone else hear that?

they just finished recording the new album, and from what i've heard from it, it will destroy 95% of what is released next year.

I was disappointed with a lot of the releases that came out this year. For me at least this year was full of good albums, but there's not one that I can say I'll be listening to for a while. Last year I had Jimmy Eat World, Straylight Run and Say Anything but this year there's nothing that I like better than any of those three.

I think Brand New will absolutley explode...the teen market will eat up Jesse's vocals. Also, I would think that Saves the Day's new Album will be amazing and they will remain one of the top bands in whatever genre this is.

i love action action, definitely excited for the new album, i hope ppl appreciate them more too.

Also, if anyone got to see The music is much too loud tour, Mute Math was amazing on it and the EP is sweet. I don't know when the album is coming out but I'll be first in line for that one

And FOB is already big, panic! is sure to follow them up. And freakin anberlin will blow up even more cuz of the HH tour...

I love a lot of stuff that came out this year. Death Cab has blown my mind with one of my favourite records of all time, Alk3 have done it again, Fob have gone gang busters, Co&Ca have come back with a massive record. Then there have been a number of debut full lengths like Nightmare of you, Acceptance, I am the avalanche, Patd, etc. I just think this year has been huge and i don't see next year being any bigger.
