Giving Chase have been confirmed as part of a forthcoming compilation to be released by Hopeless Records and sold exclusively via Hot Topic stores. Entitled, "Metal=Life," the 2CD+DVD collection will feature music and videos from such acts as Underoath, Stretch Armstrong, Madball, As I Lay Dying, and many more. Giving Chase will have their song "Simple Self" featured on one of the music discs, as well as their video for the song on the DVD.

Underoath does have a metal side, by the way.. tTheir new shit is much, much heavier with a huge metal influence... and their old stuff (with Octavia) is certainly metal inspired.
