Here It Goes

Hey all.

I'm a guitar player, mostly acoustic, and I've got a huge amount of really great melodies written, but I'm pretty terrible with organizing my thoughts into lyrics.

I've been working on a really catchy song for awhile now, and basically have it all laid out, but no words are coming to me yet. It's an upbeat, catchy tune, in the vein of The Format or Third Eye Blind, and I'm wondering if anyone feels like sharing some lyrics with me. It's completely your call, just know that I'm not looking for anything overly sappy.

If you'd like me to try putting some of your lyrics to music, feel free to post them here or PM me. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, just thought I'd give it a shot.

Thanks in advance to anyone who wants to try it out.

Untitled

I’m still here
Kickin round somewheres
I see what you do
The looks I give you
But you can’t see

You can’t see the pain inside me
Never getting any easier
I’m gonna crack
I’m gonna break
Fall to the floor when I finally snap

The calls, the messages
Can’t believe I said what I said
So full of regrets
So much I wish to take back

If I had another chance
I’d turn this all around
Never thought it would hurt like this
Never felt pain like this

You can’t see the pain inside me
Never getting any easier
I’m gonna crack
I’m gonna break
Fall to the floor when I finally snap

The way things were
The smile I use to put on your face
The way id make you laugh
Thats what I loved
What I loved about me and you

I didn’t think I could make someone happy
Then you proved me wrong
I didn’t think I could make you cry
Then you proved me wrong

You can’t see the pain inside me
Never getting any easier
I’m gonna crack
I’m gonna break
Fall to the floor when I finally snap

If you're OK with slightly cynical lyrics and a play on words then I'd love to help you out.

Could you possibly put the music on youtube or something?
