Here is another song i recently wrote, im new to the lyric writing so if you could rate this Thanks !

It was all so real
So unbelievable, but it was happening
Or so I believed
I loved your touch, your words, your everything
I always knew you could do better
But I felt pretty damn lucky, even for a little while

Although now I know
Me and you can’t be together
But it will be okay
Cause now I have a friend, something I’ve never had
Which is more then I started with
But less then I bargained for

So I've been thinking, about you and me
A little more then I should
So I’ve been dreaming, about you and me
A little more then I should
And I can’t help but think of you
I know were just friends
But it’s hard, oh so hard

So maybe I’ll just go now, and disappear
I’ll drive all night, wherever it is I end
You’ll still be in my thoughts
Still be in my head as I watch the ceiling from my bed

yea.. its cliched.. but i did like:

Cause now I have a friend, something I’ve never had
Which is more then I started with
But less then I bargained for


i like that part.. I have found, being more of a lyricist than a poet myself, that many times lyrics ar gonna be simple or cliched in some way. poetry has all types of formats and can be rated even more ways(catagories). lyrics tho, go with music. and really its about spilling our feelings, which unfortunately, are bound to fall into cliche. so altho it is cliched, i still like it. but all lyrics need good music! :-)

Yeah im no good at singing or playing anything, but i just write lyrics cause its a way of venting and yes they usually are cliched but lately ive been letting others see them, including the person there about, and people on the internet are helpful too.

But thanks thats definately a line that stood out to myself too
