emery and anberlin sound delicious
I love emery, I love anberlin, and I'm just starting to get into June.
Funny that the one band I haven't bothered listening to is the headliner... or is it coheadliner? It's hard to tell. Either way, if they stop here, I'm in.

fall out boy and hawthorne are just playing a couple of shows together in december, not a full tour.
i find it hard to believe if emery is playing after anberlin. anberlin should definitely be first support on this tour

They are, I'm seeing that concert on December 1st. I hope Emery plays before FATA, cause I do not want to sit through FATA, I do not like them.

i remember seeing Emery and HH play together over a year ago, and I really have to say it was a pretty good show. Anberlin is pretty incredidle live also.

believe me, i have a lot of respect for certain victory bands.... but i honestly don't see why TJV isn't getting on tours like this. don't get me wrong, i enjoy june's music and they are hard working, very nice guys who i've gotten to meet like 3x now.... but they and TJV both were signed at almost the exact same time, have toured together prior to their Victory signing and probably have a lot of the same fanbases, and released albums at least within 2-4 months of each other. i don't understand how TJV gets shafted (in a sense that they are certainly not getting the kind of exposure in comparison to a HH headlining tour), while June (certainly no offense to them) gets on really good stuff like this. i'd hold both bands on the same level, but the tour's levels are certainly not. i know that Josh lacey handles june's booking which is probably why they are getting some good packages....... but TJV have a really good agent too who works for a bigger company.
basically my entire rant is all about: TJV's booking agent should step it up.

If this comes near me, I'm definitely going for Anberlin & Emery.
& I might even stick around to listen to HH, just cause I'm really happy about what they're doing for Bayside & John. The music may not be my thing, but they seem like really nice guys, that deserves something.

Wow. With the exception of Hawthorne Heights, this seems like an awesome tour. Good for Anberlin, they deserve it.

Wrong
"In the spring, we're going out with Hawthorne Heights and probably one more band. We're going to be playing places with a ton of general-admission space so we can get as many kids out there as possible."--Pete
The HH/FOB tour is after the HH/Emery/Anberlin/june tour.

yeah, thats like one tour though. June (once again, no offense to them) has been all over the country so many times in the past 6 months, and all of them were some pretty decent tours. TJV on the otherhand, haven't been on the road as much (and im talking prior to the past few weeks' sitatuation), and the times that they were......well, let's just say they didn't have the kinds of slots that June has gotten in the past.
ps. im not saying this because i have a newfound love for TJV (due to the past weeks' situation), i've just been watching this band for over a year now and have been waiting and waiting for them to get the exposure they deserve. they've been on victory for quite some time now, they've got a booking agency with strong experience......................... ... where are the big tours? i thought for sure they'd take off with their new agent.

Especially being that Hawthrone Heights' agent, Jeremy Holgerson, also books The Junior Varsity.
i'm probably the biggest june fan ever but the production on their cd is horrible. i can't listen to some of it.
If I was rich.. I'd buy tickets for all my friends to see this tour. Then, after Anberlin or Emery, we'd all fucking leave :D I'd encourage others to follow.

I definately respect that.
I think I would stay simply because I paid to see four bands; HH gets my money no matter what so I might as well stay and see their show, and hey, maybe they will surprise me.

the emery headlining over hawthorne heights already happened. these bands DID exist before this year.

I just saw TJV with Tokyo Rose right before the tragedy occured. I have to say that as both bands played equally well, TJV are the nicest guys. They aren't afraid to show their appreciation for fans (including hugs and such) and people who buy merch and such from them. They definitely deserve some more hype/exposure, even though their sound is a bit quirky. But maybe quirkiness makes it all the better.
GO TJV!
(Weird...it just so happens I'm wearing my TJV shirt right now.

it's hard to believe that Emery isnt the headliner when they are so much better than every band on this bill
EMERY > Hawthorne heights... EMERY should headline.. but then again i guess its great for them to get soem of "that" spotlight...
There's actually numbers and factors involved with deciding which band's headline and which support... it doesn't go by what you and your friends think is "better", it goes by records sold, draw, and overall popularity of the artist. In othrr words: who's "better" means nothing.

oh yeah i know.. but i was thinking if theyre gonan have something like this at least let the two top bands play sets of time close to each other.. If hawthorne sells more. whos to say that more emery fans wont be in there and will be disappointed if they have about the same time as the other openers. If the openers get 30 mins i think emery and hawthorne should both get atleast 45.

Anberlin WHOO!
Emery WHOOOO!
JUNE WHOO!!!
Hawthorne Heights... um... what?
At least they're playing last. No one wants to see three guitars all play the same chord anyway.
By the way... June is awesome live. I saw them with The Junior Varsity a little while back. Really cool guys.
