Which unreleased The Starting Line (www.startinglinerock.com) song would you like to see posted on pureVOLUME.com (http://www.purevolume.com/thestartingline) this Sunday (Nov 13) at midnight (Click the "replies" to see the choices and vote!)? The full band version of "Lasting Impressions" will be up until Sunday November 20th, keep checking back because the band may make it downloadable for a day or two at random. There are still six more weeks of unreleased songs, the guys wont be stopping until the end of December and then for Christmas they may just have an acoustic demo of a new song from the next album up to share with everyone!

chris badami is the producer/engineer at portrait recording studios in new jersey. He did the whole With Hopes Of Starting Over EP and he did all of the early november albums, and the houston calls cd.

tsl are still amazing live...they played the best set on nintendo fusion when it came through dallas (fuck radio shows btw)...im glad kenny hearts the bled...screaming is fun

i think the full version of playing favorites would be awsome. i really love the chorus but why didnt they put any songs like the unreleased ones on the album. their new album is so weak and why didn the new silverstein album getting alot of hype? i just heard that like a week ago and its amazing, even better than the first. i like the technicality in it. but anyways why cant starting line write fast songs like they used to and why does kenny have to do these stupid screams in between songs like he did at warped tour. i miss the way this band used to be fun and all pop punk'd out :( and these songs are like the ashes of what this band used to be

Are you serious!? he's amazing. he produced all the early november stuff. and i can make a mess, and pretty much any band from jersey that is on drive-thru. He is amazing.

Yah, I know, but I really want a recording of it...that shitty, live recording way back when was amazing...I don't know what I'd do if I heard a nicely recorded version. A simple 4-track demo would suffice.

we can't write fast songs like we used to because we're old and fat. oh and tired and lazy. bands grow up, they evolve, or mature. to write the same record twice would be selling ourselves short and selling all of you short. we wouldn't relase something unless we were 100% proud of it. and i'm 100% proud of who were were/are/and will be.

Wow....I'm usually huge on respecting people's opinions, but you like Silverstein and think BOATS is weak....Wow.

well its alot stronger than say it like you mean it. i actually like boats more than say it like you mean it it just seemed like it was missing something and i understand bands mature because every band goes through it but for the most part bands try to rid themselves of a lable they were selling themselves as to get where they are today and i find that kinda lame but at the same time there are alot of talented acts that got lost in the shuffle of labled groups of music. so therefore i think the new starting line album wasnt as good as the new silverstein album but def. one of the top albums of the year i'm expecting so much more from them in the future and i cant wait to hear new material :).
