New Tony Hawk Game

THis game I just beat today after I got it yesterday. If you haven't got it you might want to get it now....

The soundtrak is amazing, one of the best in a tony hawk game.

I also like the story mode.

THis game is definately better than the THUG2, still debating if its better than THUG

the story mode is pretty lame.

the soundtrack is amazing (heh...thursday+thrice) you can wear band shirts (heh...thursday+thrice) and the graphics are good. but you can't do a lot of tricks until you learn them, the goals are INCREDIBLY easy, and tony hawks pro skater 4>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

why did they have to change the layout after 4? they finally got it right, and then they go and mess it up again.

2 days = 12-12 sunday night and 12-8 monday night

soundtrak is freakin awesome and you can wear band shirts if you create them.....

the graphics r better than the childish graphics of thug 2

I totally disagree. I'm a long time devoted Tony Hawk fan, I've played every single one of the games.

Wasteland was sweet for a while, but there's just way too many downsides to it. It still is better than THUG2, because that game was stupid and barely about skating, but yeah. I'll just list the flaws. (xbox)

1. Horrible graphics. The game was shipped without being polished. Downtown has huge sections that have choppy and fuzzy landscapes and the gameplay suffers. Skating in between levels is a good idea but is executed awfully as you have to skate all the way across LA at times. Your skating time in between levels is noticablly slower and the screen jerks and glitches while the next level loads while you're skating.

2. WAY too easy. By far the easiest Tony Hawk ever released, this game offered absolutely zero challenge, even on sick mode.

3. Not being able to perform tricks until you learn them - so annoying.

4. Not being able to edit special tricks in story mode. This one REALLY pissed me off. You can't even skate around to just have fun in story mode since you can't set up your own specials, you have to skate all the way to each section - do you think I'm really ever going to go skate on Oil Rig again? It's so far away! And there's no point - I can't even do my own tricks on it.

5. Goals. A return to skating goals, but only a few goals that actually had anything to do with high scores. Grr.


Really the only thing this game has going for it is a killer soundtrack. I also like the sponsor challenge, it was a cool way to get stat points. But all in all, there's really nothing great to it. THUG1 and DEFINITELY THPS 4 own this one.
