just got home from tonight's show... it was incredible and the crowd was rabid.
not in any order, but they played every song off of the '59 sound, we came to dance, wooderson, i'da called you woody, angry johnny, say i wont, senor and the queen, blue jeans and white t-shirts, boomboxes and dictionaries, 1930 (which wasn't on the acutal setlist), and threw in bits of "Stand By Me," "Bring it on Home" and one other old soul song i'm not remembering right now.

Toronto was UNREAL. One of the best shows I've ever seen. I can't even process how good this band is right now. Brian is such a hilarious & interesting frontman to listen to talk in between songs.

This might be a little jumbled up:

Great Expectations
High Lonesome
Old White Lincoln
Wooderson
Meet Me By The River's Edge
Even Cowgirls Get The Blues
We Came To Dance
The '59 Sound
Senor and the Queen
Miles Davis & the Cool
Film Noir
Boomboxes and Dictionaries
Cassanova Baby
Here's Looking At You Kid
The Patient Ferris Wheel
The Backseat

Encore:

Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts
Stand By Me/I'da Called You Woody Joe
1930
Angry Johnny
Say I Wont

I have great videos, will start uploading to the 'tube tomorrow.

im at the show now, with my girlfriend. i sort of missed good old war, but the small portion of their set i did hear sounded incredible. heartless bastards are on now. i can't get into it. they're not bad. they seem super talaented but i just can not get into it. truthfully, i havnt been able to understand one word this chick has sung since they started. pretty sweet lap steel playing though.

anyway, i was planning on keeping a set list but based on what ive read on here, they seem to be playing quite a bit of older songs. truthfully, im only familiar with their newer record ( the 59' sound ) but ill post some thoughts and such after the show.

Are you sure they are selling these on the tour? If so I am going ton Tuesday and I will pick it up for you. It will cost a bit extra (al depending on the price of the poster), plus shipping (about $7) and 4% PayPal Fees.

All I have to say is wow! I went to the show in Pittsburgh tonight and it was incredible. The Gaslight Anthem played the hell out of the 59' Sound album. They played a lot of old favorites as well. You can really tell they are very grateful to the fans, which was really nice to see. The merch was located in a different spot than usual at Smalls because of the amount of over 21 people at the bar area. Therefore I missed seeing the poster hanging on the wall. I did pick up a sweet 7inch of Sink Or Swim demos and a sweet shirt.

I missed Good Old War because I came late cause I had a show, but one of the singers dad's (who lives in Pittsburgh) came up to my dad (he's a fan of my dads music) and introduced his son (one of the guys ins Good Old War) to my dad and gave him a CD. I thought that was pretty cool. My dad said he was a super nice guy.

When I heard the name Heartless Bastards, I thought they'd be some cool punkish band..... I was wrong. They aren't bad at what they do, but I couldn't get into it. They were very boring on stage and the girl I had a lot of trouble understanding what she said. They had a sweet steel guitar part in one of their songs though. They also played a little too long for an opening act I think.

Good Old War was very entertaining, great Simon & Garfunkle meets Beatles-esque 3-part harmonies, nice folky appeal like the Format and mixed with a bit of the New Amsterdams (dude kinda sounds like Matty Pryor)

Hearless Bastards were terrible. Boring, every song sounds the same, the female vocalist has no stage presence and a mediocre voice, they played about 15 minutes too long (45 minute set). they had one appealing song, the one the dude above mentioned with the slide guitar. the problem is, neither opening band pumped the crowd up for Gaslight at all, so the crowd response to Gaslight was a bit weak, like, for 1930 or Wooderson, I thought MAYBE a pit would break out or something. but everyone was pretty chilled out. maybe we're all just old? that's my excuse.

I was front row, dead center. I got the set list and 1930 wasn't on it. I was so glad they played it. I would of loved to hear Elvis and maybe Ferris Wheel. Oh well. The crowd was so boring. Who pays to go to a show and stand there? No one was even dancing. I attempted to push people a bit hoping they'd push back, nothing. I just danced the night away like a total goof. It was a real good time.

The columbus crowd was great. dead still for the opening bands of course, but went wild for gaslight. except i pretty much got attacked by a drunk bitch who was later carried away kicking and yelling, and apparently had to be handcuffed? would have kicked her ass if i had the space to turn around...but i couldn't and i could only reach her arms as she continuously slapped my head/face and ripped off my necklace. the sight of her being dragged out made my night :]
oh, and once i could pay attention to the show, gaslight anthem was amazing :] i believe they played the same setlist here too, i'm not the best at remembering setlists though lol

Yeah I thought for sure people would move. There was this guy wearing a bouncing souls jacket and he was moving and going nuts, but no one else around him really moved. It was a lot of older people up front, maybe that's why. I don't know why, but it was a great show and I hope they come back soon

gaslight was even better than last time i saw them, which i didn't think was possible. i was extremely happy that they put the patient ferris wheel on the set, my favorite song. they added casanova as well as 1930. brian wrote those in on the setlist for me afterwards so i wouldn't forget. they're such nice guys, it was great talking to them

Chicago was fun... but the venue sucks horribly. I liked Good old war more than I did in WI and I still really like The Heartless Bastards. Gaslight seemed to be havin more fun in WI. Brian barely talked to the crowd, and never smiled. Towards the end you could tell he was pissed at the drunk people who just kept yelling the same shit. For the encore they were supposed to play- Blue Jeans, Woody Joe and Angry Johnny.. I could see Brian telling Benny something and shaking his head and they ended up skipping Woody Joe. Chicago actually sucked enough for piss off Brian Fallon, the happiest dude in the world. I felt bad for him, he tried talking about how he wanted to move here but people just kept yelling 1930. Q101 ruined the Chicago show, that show was filled with assholes that only knew the 59 sound...And then when Brian was talking about how he loved Chicago some drunk yelled " You probabibly said that to another city last night".
And then a few mins later when Brian was talking someone yelled out "Shut the fuck up and play"...And that was the end of Brians good mood and love for Chicago.

I saw the Chicago show as well. I thought Good Old War rocked it (saw them again last night) but the crowd was definitely full of poser assholes. There were four or five guys behind me (I was like 2nd row) who just talked shit about how they (these idiot audience members) were better musicians than Good Old War and how great their home studios were and how they were taking up the bass, blah blah blah. Almost ruined the show for me, but didn't.

Heartless Bastards were "eh" for me, the musicianship was very good but I didn't like the singer's voice.

I was very surprised by the crowd there for Gaslight. It was definitely divided, up front at least, to the drunk annoying people on the left and the calm(er) people there for the music on the right. They definitely dampened what could've been an awesome show but I liked their set either way, even if it was short.

I was at the Vancouver show: Friday, April 10. It was a interesting show. I was surprised by the amount of old people there. I guess parents love Gaslight Anthem. The Heartless Bastards played first and were a snorefest and a half. The show was an early one with Gaslight coming on at 8:30 and finishing by 9:30. (This was perfect for us because we wanted to see Defiance, Ohio later that night at another venue.)

I don't remember the set list completely but I know they mostly only played the new songs along with a cover of Tom Petty's mountain girl or american girl or something that was slow and boring and they kept half covering songs in the middle of Say I won't recognize and I didn't recognize any of them. They also played the first verse of Stand by me before going into one of their songs.

EP

Senor and the Prom Queen
Say I Won't Recognize
Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts

The '59 Sound

Great Expectations
The '59 Sound
Old White Lincoln
High Lonesome
Film Noir
Miles Davis & The Cool
Even Cowgirls Get the Blues
Meet Me By the River's Edge

I could have missed some and these are definitely not in the right order. The set list was pretty good other than the fact I would have preferred some older faster songs than the slower newer ones and I'd rather not heard old classic rock cover that I've heard a million times.

I do believe the set was

Great Expecations

I remember this set list even less.

I know they played
I'm Just Going to Leave...
I Don't Want Solidarity if it Means Holding Hands With You
Petty Problems
Oh Susquehanna
The List

Which are my favorites. The only favorite they didn't play was Chad's Favorite Song which they claim they don't know how to play anymore.

my show started at 8 and gaslight didnt even get on until 1040. Heartless bastards took a little long to set up and there was a 4th opening band. If you have no opening band then they should start at 950-1000.

Milwaukee show was fucking awesome. Good old war was boring as hell but I was presently surprised with The Heartless Bastards, they were very good. Gaslight were flawless.

Here's their set

They also played 1930, which was requested.. and maybe one other that's not on there.

I love the image.. "meet me by the wawa" haha.

Heartless Bastards were incredibly entertaining. Very surprised by their performance (slide guitars ftw), and the number of middle aged folks that were dancing and singing along to them.

The Gaslight Anthem, unsurprisingly, were awesome. I don't think I have ever seen a frontman smile and joke so much on stage before. Brian Fallon just seemed happy as a clam, and much of the crowd was really into them. I could spot hardcore punk kids, Hot Topic wannabe-goth kids, neon All Time Low fanatic kids, and middle aged men all singing along, so much diversity in their fanbase (essentially take a handful from each yourscenesucks category and that sums up what the crowd looked like).

Here's their setlist:

Just got home from this. I'm not even going to try and explain how amazing of a show this was. Brian said he was in such a good mood tonight, and it showed. I don't think I have ever seen someone having as much fun as him on stage. They played for an hour and 35 minutes and played a 5 song encore. Just amazing.

I went to both nights at the Stone Pony this weekend, and over the two nights I think they played all their songs but 1930 and Red At Night. They threw in 2 covers as well, on Friday Brian came out with the guys from Good Old War and they covered a song that I have never heard before but part of the crowd new and last night they did American Girl. Also someone was taping Friday's show, I think it might have been Bamboozle TV since their truck was outside but no one said anything so I'm not sure. Over all the show was insane, they sold out both nights and I don't think anyone there did not know all the words to all the songs. I had chills as he explained "Here's Looking At You, Kid" as it was written about a time he spend at the Stone Pony with a girl (he told the story Friday) and when they did it both nights the line "That I'm famous now for all of these rock and roll songs. And even if that's a lie, she should've given me a try." It was just chilling to see Brian's face as he realized that maybe he really was. They also brought out one of Brian's friends from another band from northern NJ for the '59 Sound and that was pretty cool

Same here. Why can't more bands be like this? I'm going to both Manchester shows in June and they played a 13 song set last night..a pretty far cry from the 21 Gaslight played. I really hope these guys blow up. They deserve it.

I still can't get over how amazing that orlando show was, the night before in st pete was fun but the energy of the orlando show was just unreal. Couldn't believe how many songs they played. I'm going to both Manchester shows too, should be fun and since it's the end of the tour hopefully they play a longer set.

I guess no one else here was at the Recher Theater show. I didn't think to write down the setlist, but they played a great show. One of the highlights was a cover of Left Of The Dial by The Replacements. The show was sold out, and there were alot of older people there. Good Old War was awesome, and the second band was pretty good too.
